Yea, even Itadori english dub VA complain the same thing about this translator. So far last month, i got pretty much of all Toriyama one shots except manga theater. Also starting next week friday, i finally get Claymore in physically.

Very fair argument, but I collect warhammer books aside from manga and other novels. And those books will just go out of print after a year or two and you might never see them again unless you're willing to pay scalper prices. You're kinda forced to buy quickly with them.

You not alone, every time I seen that Elusive Samurai Triangle logo, it just Zelda Triforce symbol. Most people thought i just upset too much of Zelda stuffs. This month, i going to get Goodbye Eri Special Edition (it came with hardcover and some color page with it), it also coincidentally released the same day of Look Back movie in theaters.

I really wish there was a Phase 3 Box Set. Could’ve had a ton of collectibles. It could’ve looked like Uncle Ben’s Suitcase or the Infinity Stone briefcase.

I don't like to wait, so mostly I buy one-shot manga. and always look for manga when they already finished and buy them in full set, especially Naoki Urasawa collection. But now I have to join the waiting game with Asadora 😅

Sad to know what happen to you, hopefully it get resolves soon. Also Eva is quite get more weirder when you get into it. I am more prefer the Rebuild storyline than the OG and manga, it revamp the story way better.

Did this with Tokyo Ghoul only Vol 1. through 9. was available. And I waited out the release of every volume after even into :re and the final 16th that closed it. All individual, no boxsets and I'd argue that's why anything 'Tokyo Ghoul' resonates with me. I have a passion for it to be realised in a proper adaptation of the rest. That 'expo' is a slap in the face even if it is well-intentioned. If they announce a reboot from it I'll still be p*ssed. That's how much I want Tokyo Ghoul to be recognised. The feeling I felt when the journey came to a close....was spectacular. And the anime robbed any feeling of 'closure'. I think that's what most TG fans are feeling from the lacklustre adaptation, and why we are pining for a reboot collectively. I'd argue The Promised Neverland's Season 2 demands the same, another series that I completed despite the hardened rumours of a piss poor ending. I still read it, and it did make me question the outcome. But provided enough for closure. That's why these anime adaptations suck because they skip to the conclusion and don't acknowledge how to get there. When anyone who's seasoned enough can probably figure out the anime/manga is addictive because of the longevity and the journey that is needed to reach the destination on the horizon. I realise now that it is the soul and the heart of the anime/manga culture, in its entirety. And that's why corporate greed is all too easy to see in the medium. I suppose with these words I have grasped the very essence of what a 'anime' fan is.

Bro have you read or watched "The Tower Of God" it's not Japanese but Korean manga and it also got anime adaptation. I liked the story and plot plus character building, if you get time please check it out😄😄😄

8:13 idk, Sakamoto Days plot more remind me of David Cronenberg A History of Violence than John Wick does. That film has Viggo Mortensen (fame of Lotr) character sorta similar to Sakamoto but much darker. Anyway, your haul are cool as always

I recently got into collecting manga and last two months or so I've literally only been buying the Berserk deluxe volumes hahaha. They're just sooo expensive I can't afford anything else for now D: But I plan on adding the classics like Vinland Saga and Vagabond to my shelf in the future. Hopefully your videos will inspire me on other cool mangas to read / consider collecting. Recently started reading Kingdom and am enjoying it but oh man I can't imagine trying to collect such a HUGE series! My wallet would be crying! Looking forward to your upcoming Berserk video :D <3

Yea it kinda mundane but hopefully next month could better for you. So far mine from last/this month are: OP episode ace vol 1, Historie vol 1 (from the same guy who created Parasyte) This one may not count as manga, i picked both Dune and Dune Messiah thanks to recent movie that peak my interests. Not sure if Dune series does right up your alley or not.

The actual books don't hold up too well either. I bought a couple of these in 2016, but had them sit idle at my shelf up untill last year, but after giving these older books a first read, they ended up a bit saggy and the first couple of pages were prone to cracking near the spine... I stopped reading at volume 3 (just to take a break, not because I disliked them), but that ended up being a year. Went over them quickly last night up untill 1am, and now I'm finally continuing the story. Glad I'm not the only one having a hard time keeping up with the action scenes, thought it was just me, given I've always struggled with the few shonen books I've red...
