This music, this score, this magnificent moment in time has enriched all of our lives. If you don't agree that it's one of the finest accomplishments that ever graced our world it's at the least on a very, very short list. Over 50 years old and still it brings me to tears and incredible joy. We are all the better for having heard this incredible, gorgeous, haunting and most beautiful song.
Greatest spaghetti western movie of all time.Claudia Cardinale look so stunning, gorgeous n beautiful! One of the most Italian actress along with Alida Vali,Gina Lolobrigeda n Sophia Loren!
In my humble opinion the most iconic moviescore ever. Can anyone imagine how a man (Ennio Morricone) can compose this piece of art? There must be a higher spirit to do this.
Correction: not a man... Ennio Morricone... DIRECTED by Sergio Leone. People tend to forget that Sergio was 100% part of the musical score, he DROVE the composition. I love Ennio, but what we see AND hear in this movie is the absolute genius of Sergio Leone. Working with the bests talents of course (Ennio, Claudia, Charles, Henri, Jason, etc.)
So glad I was able to see this and all the other Leone films in theaters on first release way long ago. Once Upon a Time in the West actually got little play or hype then, played 2nd tier theaters, Phoenix, AZ 1969. Back then, I couldn't find a soundtrack album; finally looked in the giant book at the record store, and found it listed under "Pop Titles" instead of "Pop Albums", and ordered it. Decades later, I got the expanded European soundtracks for this, GBU, and For a Few Dollars More on CDs.
This is a movie. It captivates you, it moves you, it makes you relate to the main character. Then tell me why for the past 30-40 years, we've been given shit over shit over shit on the screen of movie theatres. Superheroes movies, animated movies, all sort of crap movies....
This masterpeice had everything...Claudia, Fonda, Bronson, Leoni's film genius, Morricones's music, wonderful Western scenery and a changing take on Western folklore as seen through cinema. The supporting cast were magnificent too, all understanding the Western genre. One of the best movies to ever come out of cinematic history.
Not willing to diss Ennio, I love him, BUT... But Ennio was DIRECTED by Leone... So you see and hear Sergio Leone genius, both in visual story telling AND in sound/music/ambiance setup.
The Stones Dude had to shoot in Monument Valley, Ford Country. Bravo! But his movie is a magnificent answer in every way. And Morricone's work will last every bit as long as Shakespeare's.
Man, this scene had me crying because of how breathtakingly gorgeous Morricone’s score is! 😭 I was absolutely blown away by how the vocals and instrumentals blended so beautifully together! I was left speechless less than halfway through Once Upon A Time In The West! It became a 5 star film instantly in my eyes! One of the greatest masterpieces ever! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Long shot, medium shot, tracking shot, panning shot, crane shot and wide/establishing shot, all seamlessly combined in one, in perfect unison with the music. Absolute cinematic gold.
추억의 멋진 영화음악 참좋습니다. 🎉🎉🎉구독하고🎉🎉🎉손잡고갑니다🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅❤❤❤
Very beautiful woman. Very beautiful mature voice for this theme song.
The depth of quality is like no other. This is the ultimate art of film making
One magistral shot from 2'57" to 4'12"
Total rubbish
Stick to cartoons pal, it takes a brain to appreciate this masterpiece.
Nemmeno l'immensa bellezza di Claudia raggiunge la bellezza della meravigliosa colonna sonora del Maestro Morricone ❤❤
Peliculón 😮

Absolutely excellent you’ll never listen to or see such a brilliant movie again from the past.
No doubt!!
Claudia Cardinale' eyes and the joy of Morricone' score. That's Cinema.
There are scenes...there are great scenes.....then there is this.

This is one of the most iconic shots ever made.
One of the greatest scene of a movie all time.
Has there anything been made in the last few decades that comes near to this?
Claudia Carnevale ❤❤

멋 ..... !

Monument Valley tribe charged me $1.00 to drive (rental car) on the valley floor. Twin sisters towers in all the movies.
The visual is out of order?

Yes!
Good taste!
Totally agree!
Well said. Extremely well said.
Long shot, medium shot, tracking shot, panning shot, crane shot and wide/establishing shot, all seamlessly combined in one, in perfect unison with the music. Absolute cinematic gold.
And Claudia Cardinale.
@@hennagaijin100 Such an angel entering hell. Claudia is one of my childhood crush.
Claudia Cardinale, one of the most beautiful women ever
Me emociono mucho despues de tantos años ,de esta pelicula tan grandiosa ,con esa musica inigualable e insuperable .
That epic theme will make you cry for a moment. It did to me.
The only continuity error in the film. The boys carry her bags…..twice.
My favourite scene in my favourite movie. This stirs something in my soul every time I've seen it. Cinematic perfection.
Claudia Cardinale and Paolo Stoppa again together. 6 years earlier they were father and daughter in Visconti's Gattopardo.
jill's theme is imo the most beautiful piece of music ever written
Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pale of water
3:50-4:10. The best sync of visuals and music ever created, gives me goosebumps everytime.
Agree. Same here
❤❤good taste❤❤❤
Definition of perfection
Yo tambien
Best western movie of all time! Plus the best music of any western all time!
I must disagree: you can remove "western" and I'll agree :)... Best movie EVER.
This scene requires very few words, music and scenery only one’s imagination could duplicate
With the song i just see the end of the western...😢
좀 우울한데.. 힐링이 되네.
Just an epic scene. Compare to Who’s afraid of Virginia Wolf.
Very good horse, pulling at a good pace by himself.
