Ini menarik gw baru tau kalo drum juga bisa dituning😂
YOU CAN TUNE A DRUM? 💀
Yes we can! 😄 🇺🇸
God ive been a drummer for quite a long time now, i didnt know about this 💀
@@kor-_e I've been playing for years now too. I used to play by ear and only learned this method a year ago. I released a video the other day where I tune a 13” tom (top and bottom)
love that hat pattern, fun to play with those 3/4 polymeters. it has a disoriented shuffle feel which is very cool. I first heard it used in pneuma by tool, been experimenting with it since then
Yes. I really love disoriented timing 😊
Good video Marco! I like the feeling, this really shows the different feeling you can provide just with small modulation. Nice groove, keep it up!
Thanks for ur feedback. I like it 👍
Bravissimo 👍
Great example of breaking up time into subdivisions, and how it works.
Where can I find this drums loop for practice?
Hello, ‘Rhythmic Horizon’ by Gavin Harrison
@@marcocasarini thank you
'Promo sm'
Che bacchette usi? Impugnatura fucsia bellissima
Bravissimo👍
the best band in the world
Advanced triplets at the end of video clashes with the bass but I was inspired by listening the voice. I hope you like it.
Top 5 SX song
I love it
Great cover, really well played. You have a new subscriber!
Thanks too kind
Che spettacolo 😊
Ottimo lavoro, bravo Marco. Meravigliosi anni '80 👍
Bella jam, bravo 👍

Man you best all
Real good stuff! :D Nice to see the musical notation as well! :D
Love how polyrhythms introduce a variety of interplay between harmony and rhythm. Buttery-smooth. Keep it up! 👍
I mean it's good as an excercise but you should know how to correctly use this in a musical context. As long as you keep in mind that this is just an excercise we're good :)
Thank’s for ur point of view.
You sound insufferable…. Like the person who corrects everyone even if you’re wrong.
he just expressed his thoughts. my video was clearly for educational purposes. a starting point to develop your own groove within a real jazz song, using the polyrhythm that is also used in other musical genres. here, this is the real reason why I posted this instructional video.
@@marcocasarini You are a blessing and a saint. Appreciate sharing your knowledge and background. Looking forward to more! Keep it up 😊
Impresionante!!!
Estuvo genial, solo faltó la última parte.
Thanks, yes miss ending 🙂.. next time 😉
This is super cool!
jazz........yes
Not too many people cover this gem. Thanks!!
Really smooth!
great video. Could you also make a video with the bassdrum please?
I use electronic kik. Acoustic is only snare and hi hat
Hi Marco is the Drum Transcript available I like what you did, and help with 5 and 7 Stoke Rolls would be great to understand.
Hi Cameron. I used Finale for transcription. I guess to not understand. Your it was a question?
@@marcocasarini talking about drum music is what you had on the screen.
@@cameronvinson ok. I used Musescore. Free software for write music.
@@marcocasarini is it possible to get copy of the music that was on the screen
@@cameronvinson Sure. No problem.
Wow dude, love this

Reitero, está bien genial está rutina de ejercicios :'3
Thanks so much Omar. May be also more interesting exercise introducing pause around..
Está chido el ejercicio, gracias (':
Good stuff, Marco!!! Two tips for anyone getting into odd time signatures.... 1) When counting, say "sev" instead of "seven". Small but powerful detail. 2) Vary the accent. 7-beat, in it's purest form, doesn't have an accent on 1 and 5 every measure. A repetitive 4 + 3 beat is a different feel than a pure 7-beat. Practice the many variations... 1-3, 1-3-5, 1-5, 1-4, 1-2-4, 2-5, etc. and then switch variations from one measure to the next. Now you're truly playing 7-beat, and it that will also take your even meter playing to a whole new level. As an example, when accenting 1-3-5, count "1-2,1-2,1-2 and 1-2,1-2,1-2 and 1-2,1-2,1-2 and" etc. The same is true of 5-beat. Thy accents shouldnt always be on 1 + 4. Put a bass and chord pattern into a loop and play along for about twelve hundred bars, varying the accents from measure to measure. It's hard, in the beginning, because you're breaking out of the habits you created playing in even meters, but if you force yourself to accent the seemingly unnatural beats, it becomes very natural.
Totally igree. familiarize with the base and then experiment. you’ll come up with an infinite number of variations.
good stuff - especially the "sev" hint. thanks
The mix between real and E-Drums is crazy man x)
I made a virtue of necessity
Lmao I've done a similar concept hybrid setup 4 electronic rack toms, triggered my acoustic kick and floor tom and run sabian cymbals all micd and an acoustic maple snare triggered and micd
I was looking for a lesson similar to this! Awesome! Thanks
where 9 ?
From 9 to15 I didn’t do.
Ottimo...bravo
Thumb up
dude that's great. gonna add this to my daily rudiment rotation. good job!
Thanks man. 👍
Bravo mi piace pulito nel battere e sollevare
Grazie. Comunque qualche imprecisione nelle ghost si sente.
Nice ending 👍
Very good job! Thanks for sharing! The bass drum could be louder!
I don't hear the bass drum at all
What I’m seeing in the music is not what I’m hearing.
Yes. U’re Right
that's what i thought too haha
Wonderful, Do You have the Rythmic Horizons book?
