Great video… I just came across this as I was trying to figure out what to do with my pristine 2013 chromebook pixel. I’m going to give this conversion to Linux a try. I’m wondering if I should go with the latest Ubuntu release or stick with the 22.04 release that you demonstrate. Thanks for all your efforts putting this video together.

Spent hours trying to remove it using other chemicals, wipes, etc. I even went as far as using auto parts brake cleaner. This works 100%.. However, I had to repeat the process a second time because there were white streaks and spots leftover from the first attempt. My screen looks good as new. Thanks for the video!

I won't buy an LG 5K monitor again. When mine recently gave up the ghost at less than two years I was not very happy. I also refuse to shell out an inordinate amount for an Apple monitor. I think I might be tempted to try out the Kuycon G27X. Not only has it got a 5K panel, but it supports 8K via HDMI and has both a full size displayport connector as well as video van usb-c. It's certainly cheaper than the offerings by LG, Apple and Samsung. I'm prepared to try things as I am not precious about brands. I remember the line from the movie Armeggedon... 'all made in Taiwan'. More than likely all these 5K panels are made by the same company in China.

I had the same prob when I accidentally let the black run out. This is horribly sloppy programming by Epson. They should sense a tank is out, give a warning, and not let the machine try to suck ink until more ink is added. As I programmer myself I know this can and should have been done, so why after several years and generations of these machines, are they still not doing this? My first Ecotank I had to junk because the software counter claimed the spill sponge was saturated and diabled the entire printer, even tho it was not filled, and it was working fine. Plus they could easily have made a way for users to access, drain, and replace the sponge. I guess they want you to buy a new printer anytime a prob comes up, which is often! Thanks for the fix, although mine is still not printing as well as before the incident.

You are a LIFE SAVER! Thank you so much! I was actually able to fix my number "6" key with this issue without removing the clear plastic tab. I just removed the key, cleared the dust off it and use the tweezer to try to rotate the silver circle just a little bit through the clear plastic tab, and VOILA, it WORKED! You are THE MAN!!!

Interesting, so the screw-gate is back. Many may remember the iPhone 5S screws digging into the circuit board through the posts. Wow Apple still hasn't learned not to put traces under posts. smh

First check to make sure your power cord is fully plugged into the monitor and power block. I found that my cable was partially pulled out the back of my monitor
