Thank you for posting this. Graceful and smooth but the body posture is wrong - they have to be bent over and more tension and energy needed in the movements. Very good to showcase Indian dancing by Japanese women = I would like to see more of both cultural gifts in comparison.

The first song, 'Syama Sama Kamaniya' was written by Kabisurjya Baladeba Ratha. The second one is by Banamali. Can't find one from Gopalakrusna's writings in this clip.

I haven’t words to describe this staggering performance but sadly it makes me too aware of how far Indian dance is degraded by Bollywood.
Dissily Mordentroge: Yes comparing Indian classical dance and music, Bollywood music and dance are just crap. Indian people should be proud of your long history and the amazing classical music and dance, and keep the purity and don’t let them be affected by western culture or any modern elements. I’m self learning Odissi dance and just love it.
Actually Bollywood is what made the world aware of the Indian classical dances, that's how I got into Kathak for example.
