Can you show how to put the back shock back in
Unfortunately I don't have that bike anymore. But easiest way is if you first remove rear wheel, seat and take that one bolt off from tank, so that you can just move it around. I always just drop the shock in it's place and put the upper shock mount bolt in. Next the lower bolt. And without rear wheel it's easier to move swingarm up-and-down so that you can easily find the correct place for linkage and rear shock. Then just bolt everything back to factory torque specs.
Hi the bike looks fantastic iv just got one with the same exhaust could you tell me qhat maps you have on it please
There's an topic at FB and I've posted one map there. Are you able to see this one? facebook.com/groups/384670130122256/permalink/792231876032744/
Awsome info brother thanks for sharing this respect
Nice. After the first run with the V, try to go uphill with the diagonal. Gravity will make the snow "climb" up the wing and fly further up and away. :)
Hyvin riittää voima 700. Hyväntuntuinen levy keulalla!
What company makes the plastics? Thanks.
Front fender and side number plates are made by Polisport. Airbox cover and radiator plastic by Cycra.
What kind of hand guards are you using
Originals from Yamaha's webshop. I have a hunch that those are actually Acerbis Tri-Fit handguards.
Gdzie kupić taki pług i ile kosztuje
Good information, thanks. I have the WR450F 2022, can i also make this modification with the Connecting Rod? I think it is possible because it is for the YZ450F you write. The parts for the linkage upgrade must be from a YZ450F 2006? Only 2006?
I have no knowledge on the lenght of the stock 450 linkage (for -22 model). I can measure the one that I have and you can then decide what do you want to test on your 450.
The longer linkage that I use is ~145 mm long from bolt center to bolt center.
Good video and have a good day
How much was it and which kit did you have to buy ?
V-B!ades are the best! The faster you go the better they work. Love my V-blade, my Comet "SLOW-BLOWER"is now a 5' snow blade (scoop). Great video showing how practical these blades are. Good luck
Thanks for video. Do you have any weights on the back of the quad?
Hi. Yes I do. Yamaha's own cargo box full of brick's. :) Also chains around back tires. And the latest addition is that we changed front springs from 22Nm --> 35Nm.
Hieno kokoonpano! Paljonko hydrauliikka maksoi?
Kiitos!
Have you had any starting issues warm or cold starts as others have been having? I’m considering this bike.
No issues, what so ever. Not with -21, nor with -22 model. Did still some "pretentative" things as you can see from my videos. Raised idle. Clutch modifications. And clutch switch bypass.
@@parjanfin Thank you.
Good information in your video. Do you know if this longer linkage arm will also work on the 2015 wr 250f?
Thanks! Seems that the linkage (Connecting Rod) has the exact same part number from -15 to -17 (33D-2217F-00) as original, so yes, the modification should work for -15 model also.
@@parjanfin Thanks for the info. I want to try this out. I had been thinking of shortening the shock 6 mm to equal the yz of the same year, but this seems easier and can still be returned to stock.
@@nvmcrider8475 Perfect. If you like and still remember this, would love to hear your thoughts also on this modification.
@@parjanfin I ended up buying the Devol adjustable link. My thinking was that it was close to the same price as the Yamaha parts but would be easier to sell when I am done with it. It also has 5 or 6 different settings so I can play with different lengths. I am 6'2" (188 cm) tall and lowering the bike made a noticeable improvement in turning, and it is also nice to have a slightly lower bike to touch the ground in off road riding. I also raised the forks in the triple clamps 12 mm to keep the bike geometry the same and to match the lowered rear end. Thanks for the tips on bike set up I am very happy with it. You should do some more videos, you have a lot of good insight into dirtbikes.
@@nvmcrider8475 Thanks! Good to hear that it worked for you also! If you have ideas from which topics I should do an video - I'm listening :)
the Golden forks.. 👍Too much done for The Blue.. Beautiful
I think it's just enough for my liking ;)
where is that clutch cable connector found on the bike? front brake or clutch side by radiator?
Right hand side of the frame, so break lever side. You most likely need to remove that radiator plastic / cover first.
@@parjanfin wow thankyou for your time replying!
lovely build sir-
Thanks!

@@parjanfin joo, onko kortti pakollinen sitten jos valkokilpisek laittaa
@@titityytyler01 Ainahan se ajokortti on pakollinen.
Nice video! Did you consider getting a rekluse manual clutch (core manual torq drive) for this bike? I’m thinking it would be a good option? /✌️🇸🇪
Thanks. To be honest, Rekluse is not my thing. I wan't to be in control and that's one component (expensive one) that can fail during race and I want' to avoid that. But nothing against Rekluse, it has it's place and users also.
@@parjanfin I think you missunderstand me. I am not talking about rekluse auto clutch. I am talking about rekluse manual clutch that works just like original clutch. With ”Core manual Torq drive” you get complete clutch kit (except basket). It has better design for oil flow and better clutch plates. You should check it out 😉
@@GeniusEnis Ah! Sorry. Yes, so my reply was for "auto clutch", as you so correctly spotted. With Yamaha's I've noticed that GYTR and original parts are most likely to work in the best way, also have best "life cycle" when on use. So hence I've not looked to other parts so much as I already know which works really well. This way also the cost of trying something out, just for the fun of it, doesn't hit your wallet :)
@@parjanfin Ok, I understand you completely. I was just curious if was an option for you 😊
@@GeniusEnis It definitely would be an option if I would have money to try that out or someone would sponsor that to me :D I like to test, experiment and find the best parts for me and My riding style. So wouldn't say "No" to any new test opportunities :)
Is this a 2021 WR250F or a 2022?
This is a 2022.
change the gopro setting from 60 hp to 50 hp. Flickering is annoying.
True. That is annoying. I assume you're referring to fps settings? Unfortunately in my GoPro (8) I don't have 50 fps available. 24, 30, 60, 120 and 240 are the options. Need to check if there's other options that could be changed.
@@parjanfin th-cam.com/video/pXjYo9mM-uk/w-d-xo.html
You sound Dutch. How's my aim? I am curious to see how well this bike does at slow speeds (fueling, over heating, etc). I have small children. Need a bike that doesn't mind going slow all day.
Not Dutch. From Finland :) In general Yamaha's aren't over heating so easily. And these new ones has fan for cooling also.
@@parjanfin I grew up listening to my Dutch grandparents and your accent sounded similar. I am currently on a 92 Kawasaki Kdx250. Great bike just old and wore out. I'd like fuel injection and electric start. How are the maintenance intervals on the wr250?
@@dynomike4142 To be honest I haven't checked what the normal or Yamaha recommended maintenance intervals are. As I'm racing with these, I'll do maintenance quite often, just for precaution so that I don't face DNF's in any race. For the -17 model WR250F I did total overhaul to the engine and measured everything after 125 hours of racing and training. Only thing that was even close to service limits was pistons lower oil ring. And even that wasn't over the limits. Everything else was still inside Yamaha's specifications.
Aina yamahan päällä
Kyyyllä :) Yamahalla on hyvä puskea lumia ja hyvä harrastella metsässä :)

Kiitoksia.
Lisäksi aika turvallisen oloinen vauhdikas hieno rata. !
Holmin Tapsan pätkä, en osaa tarkemmin sanoa missäpäin tuo on. Oli tänä vuonna Päitsillä yhtenä pätkänä.
@d3and1g1l1o No, it was too lean. That was confirmed when it was tuned and checked in dyno with lambda.
just haulin haha
@DreTone0 That bike was for racing purpose and before tuning the ECU air to fuel ration was too lean. That's why it was flaming. In that bike I had Yamaha YEC KIT ECU, wireharnes etc. After it was finetuned it didnt do those flames so often. BTW. Too lean mixture can cause damage to your bikes engine so it's not a good idea to use that kind of mixtures for too long time.
You can tell all that by looking at this video? Wow!
omg I can't wait til I can ride mine
Kuva on ainaki pirun hyvä.
watch out for the tree
Have to respect guns, especially that one. Got that ammo shell for memory and it's quite big.
Kiva rata. Viikonloppuna kemorassa ja jurvassa :b
Joo, onneks ei ole omaa tuotantoa tai höpötystä noi nopeudet. :)
