Wow!! I didn't think video existed anywhere. That was my dad that rolled in the 3rd LCQ. Favorite part is as they're hauling it away someone in the stands say's something about how he won't be racing anymore the rest of the year. My dad and his brother threw that same car back together for Mississippi Thunder's show the next week... and rolled it again there. lol.

bloomer on hewitt and boggs on mars……rotten. totally unnecessary, both should have been penalized, especially bloomquist in a car going a second a lap faster than the field plowingbhewitt into wall for 2nd before 10 laps can be run.

My grandpa and I would go to the races on the weekends during the summer as far back as I can remember,like when I was 3 or 4 years old,the whole family would go and that's all I thought about was growing up and being a race car driver,you know,a kid has no idea of the butt load of cash it takes,especially nowadays,but anyway,I was at this one or the previous year or the year after this one,I was a sophmore in high school and of course my grandpa came and picked me up at lunch from school,we live in southern Ky so its a pretty good drive,and that was one of the greatest weekends of my life,I remember us trying to get a motel that Fri night but nothing was available within a 50 mile radius,luckily my grandpa was a Cadillac man and we just slept in the car,if we'd known we couldve brought a tent and camped like a lot of ppl do at the track,but anyway,watching this and hearing some of the drivers names that I had forgotten and not heard in 25+ years brought back a lot of memories,but man did I love late model racing,damn man,I done got myself pressed out :( edit

Every time Tony gets something cool going, he loses interest in it and walks away without even a hint as to why. He did it with the Prelude, SRX and his Cup team. I predict he'll do the same with his drag racing career and it'll be sooner rather than later.
