This was the best music from the last and best era in American music; it started in the mid-40s(maybe a few decades before) and grew or evolved into what we then had in the 1970s and early 1980s-before it all started to die out-what happened to the music? Thank God for what we had then! 7-31-24.

They were one of my all-time favorite groups-never got to see them live and I guess this is about as close as I'll ever get to seeing them perform live(discovered this classic video while watching and listening, just minutes ago, to some classic BT Express from the 70's-and they were jamming also!); their(Brass Construction's)sound is funky but jazzy and mellow at the same time(a lot of the groups had it going on like this back then-where did it all go?)-they were truly one of the all-time great groups in Black/R&B/Funk music! And there's more I'd like to say about Brass Construction, but I'll leave it at that for now-and thanks to Mr. W.P. for finding this classic video and posting it on TH-cam! 7-30-24.

My 4th grade year during Spring Break 1975,my family got a puppy we named Bootsy,got our first color tv set,saw disaster movies "Airport 1975",(drive-in which was my first at one at the time),Earthquake, (indoor theatre where I had experienced sensaround hi-def stereo sound that shook seats to give the audience the earthquake experience while watching it which unfortunately I sustained nightmares from it),and hearing this jam on now defunct XPERS 1090AM "The Soul Express and American Bandstand. Experienced both good,bad times while being a 10 year old that season. Terrific memories and RIP Mom,Dad and Stepop Will.

How about the way he got a rock star’s type ovation when he finally made his way onto the stage? The 70s was IT!!
