Welcome to the Tree Talks! I am an Environmental Educator and Biologist with a passion for trees, and my hope is that this channel converts you to a tree-lover as well! Trees are story-tellers, and each of my videos is meant to help you dive into the story of different types of trees I get to see in my day to day life. My hope is that by helping people to better understand trees, we may value them more and strive to protect out forests. Try to imagine for just one moment what your day would look like without trees; the loss of wood products, fruit and nuts, shade, and so much more. What you can expect in the videos is identification tips for each tree, fun facts and human uses of the tree species, and a discussion of how that tree interacts with the rest of the ecosystem! These videos are perfect for both those who already love trees and want to learn more and those who couldn't tell a tree from a brussel sprout!
