CROSSING THE OCEAN - WHEN DREAMS COME TRUE AND A VISION BECOMES REALITY
I have visited both their factory and their facilities at the airfield. The quality of the engineering and the manufacturing is off the charts. They pay incredible attention to details. Awesome company!
Greatest airplane ever built. Fastest Rotax powered plane ever built. As fast as a Cirrus for 1/3 the price. What $1,000,000 vs. $325,000. All carbon. Parachute. Auto gas. 200 mph. 30 miles/gallon. Nothing compares. Textron should have bought Risen, not Pipistrel.
@@raymond3803 you got it 👌
I am everybday more and more impressed by the performance of these high end ULM - they outperform the classic GA planes at lower operational cost and without AVGAS usage. I’m very impressed by the specs. The next thing we will see is when Mosaic will be published in the US. They will allow 4 seaters - that will boost these next gen planes even more
@ you went straight to the point 👌👏
This has to be the most beautiful GA plane that's ever been made. Only thing that could make it better is an aerobatic rating!
Very nice, Andrea -- one of your best!
Best of the best, the only problem, I would have to sell my house first :) But I am dreaming for now at least !!!
@@mirekslechta7161 not really, but that is the problem with everything nowadays
Woooow❤
Best 2 seat machine ever made !
Lucky enough to be sent the video link by Willie. Absolutely stunning. The only thing which was missing were the glasses of Aperol spritz taken after the flight ....to make it perfect...lol. Brilliant scenery.......nearly as good as Bardolino ( during the Rose wine festival )
What a incredible machine. Congrats from Brazil. 🫡🫡🫡

Ma è un stupendo esemplare si Tiger Moth....😊
At 2:04 you can see cruising at 179 KTAS at FL100. Burning just 18 litres = 4.5 USG per hour. Very impressive! Where are the auxiliary tanks? In the fuselage, behind the pilots, or in the wings?
@@PhilipFly11 no aux tanks. Only ordinary tanks in the wing total of 50 gallons circa
While there may not be much difference in visibility between both, the bucket hat shields your ears where the ball cap does not. It also gives a little shade to the back of the neck. Many ball caps also have a "button" on the top, and in turbulence, this can hit the canopy and crack it.
@@johnfoster1201 very intelligent remarks. I tend to use now cap on power planes (usually the Cessna wing will cover with shade, and use the hat for gliding… 👍
Beautiful video…
@@hugonora2083 thanks
For me the main argument against the cap is that with the stiff "screen" (?) a turn from the head to the side 90-100 degrees or even sideways upwards is hardly possible. You might be able to turn the head 90 degrees, but if you then want to turn the head backwards/upwards, this is no longer possible. The smaller the cockpit, the worse ... Ventus a or Diana certainly impossible. And I hope that everyone turns the head at least 90 degrees in the direction you want to turn or enter the thermal!? Second point, especially caps, including yours in the video, have a button at the top center. In the past we have had 2 cases, once due to turbulence and once during a winch launch, where the pilot banged his head against the canopy in such a way that the canopy broke right at the point of the button. The button can be like a center punch!!!!!!!! Not every old fashion is bad fashion ... ;-)))
I didn't make a comparison such as Andrea makes here. My argument was Do Not Wear A Baseball Cap at All !! Measure the angle between your cornea and your eye brow 🙂 That's much greater than the angle between your cornea and the brim of your baseball cap. As for a bucket hat, typically it should be worn much further tipped back on your head so that the brim is not as low as Andrea demonstrates making it must less of an obstruction to your peripheral vision. The only time a baseball cap may be acceptable is if you wear it back to front 🙂
Bravo!
Andrea can you make a factory tour?

You are doing an incredible job. Crossing the Atlantic with an ultralight aircraft is a great piloting skill and achievement, congratulations. However, the fact that the video of such a big and beautiful flight is in the form of a photo album, the video parts you added were recorded with a poor quality, and the mistakes in the music selection cause the work done not to stand out.
@@ucusgunlugum nobody’s perfect.. that’s the best I can do 😂. If you can do better, kudo to you 😝

Great video 👌✈️
Nice, with the small engine it really puts the CG back from the normal area
All the Rotax have similar weight
Can it be flown in IMC?
@@AvgDude in USA is full IFR
In Europe all 600 kg microlights are currently (Aug 24) restricted to day VMC. However, many are capable of IMC flight and better equipped than your average Cesna/Piper.
How much extra does the Garmin avionics package cost vs. using tradition steam gauge avionics, auto pilot, and radio's? Hell of a good pilot flying a hell of a good aircraft in the video. Thanks!
@@thesearcherman6652 I am not sure if exactly. But easily 30/50k more
Price in USA?
@@darrylreaume590 lots of variables to determine a price that can range from 300k to 350k
I like it very much. I wonder, is this gear capable of withstanding regular use with two people on board on grass airfields? I know it can be used on grass, but will it get loose in hinges in a few years so it would need a repair, like making new hinges slightly bigger in diameter or something like this ?
@@mirekslechta7161 Risen now had been flying since 2018…. No need of different type of gear 😊
Andrea, I am flying Light Sport these days in the US. I think there is a similar category in the EU called ultralight. Is that true and are restrictions much less than the US, retractable gear, variable pitch prop, speed greater than 120 knots. Should I relocate to Italy 😊👨✈️
@@jhmcglynn right. Only a weight restriction about 1300 pounds. No speed , and can be complex.
WOW! 382 kmh is 237 mph. @ 47.7 mph. What altitude did you fly at to get such efficiency?
