This is not music. This is what it sounds like in the practice room when everyone is playing something different. Hope I never have to sit through this auditory torture again.
Yeah, I didn't care for it initially either. But it is music and it is fine musicians playing very carefully together something that makes sense and is beautiful. To get there, I had to invest a little time watching the composer's TH-cam video explaining the composition and listen to it more than once. Hopefully you can take another look at it so as not to miss something of value and beauty that also carries a powerful message for our times.

Just heard cellist Clancy Newman at the Kingston Music Festival last night, playing Chopin's Cello Sonata in G Minor. The guy is crazy good. If he's appearing in your area, GO!
