NEWCASTLE UNITED THE LIFE AND TIMES - THE FRIDAY SHOW
Just a beautiful man 🙏
Shoulda been the England striker..like, forever. Cowardly managers of the day. He would have frightened the living daylights out of foreign defenders.
he was great at arsenal to supermac
Supermac...very quick, very powerful and a goal machine...great sideburns too.
Eat yer hearts out Thierry Henry and Dennis Berkamp
Supermac is my hero the fastest strongest striker that has ever graced james park,I loved the seventies as a teenager in the leazers end and watching the Newcastle team I've supported all my life. Real football muddy pitches, hard footballers of which I rate supermac as one of the best.
Saw him at Arsenal when cartilage problems had taken their toll, nevertheless he was lightning quick and had the physique of a sprinter. You can see from this footage just how strong he was, imagine him today on pitches that are like carpet….. he’d score 30 a season and be priceless. Legend is an overused term these days, but Supermac deserves the title.
Sunderland and Middlesbrough are the true heart and soul of North east football these days. Newcastle sold there souls FTM 🔴⚪🔴❤
Was there for his debut, hatrick against the bin dippers, then carried off, instant legend.
Me first Toon hero, then I started paying attention to the little lad who was feeding the bullets.. RIP Terry
SUPERMAC 5 CYPRUS 0......
I think it was against burnley , that he had 3 players trying to stop him one hanging on to his shirt, and one on to each leg and he still scored
I remember Supermac hurtling along on his arse towards the goal post, legs wide open, trying to knock the cross in and just closing them and rolling over at the last second
I was at Hillsborough for the semi final and saw Supermacs two fantastic goals and of course a great ball through by Terry Hibbit.... remember it like yesterday...it will stay in my memory all my life. HWTL.
My childhood hero . The best
Great video What price for the man today?
Prince Pedro. The best player to ever play for the Toon. Absolute legend.
Absolute quality. A man's centre forward with a lot of class. Cheers for this vid pal. LEGEND 👏👏🫶🫶
Cracking penalty.
Simply the greatest I loved watching him that one against Bolton brilliant what a striker
180 million in today's money , legend 🏴
Class striker but a 100% gobshite
the best player ive seen in my 50 years supporting the toon 🖤🤍
Grew up watching this team in the seventies..some great players and great memories and goals...probably one of the best supermac goals came with his right foot away at Bolton..brilliant...who can forget the fa Cup semi final at Hillsborough and the massive Newcastle fan base in the kop ...shame about the final but never mind great times and watched some great big name players whoever we played...HTL ..DH7 MAGS ..
What a player, proper 70s icon. One of the players who would excel today too.
black and white legend
You'd pay to watch him, something else.
I was in that corner at Hillsborough when mac wheeled away after scoring his second in that semi final win, and was in centre paddock for his hat trick against Liverpool, great player great memories.
Was before my time, but damn I can see why people say right up there ... a goalscoring beast
What a striker a total beast
awesome striker my hero
The best. What memories.
Was my hero in the 70s, and still my hero today.
🎶John Tudor is better than Eusebio, supermacs better than pele. 🎶
Very strong starting XI
Supermac was my childhood hero. A sensational striker.
Class partnership 😊
outstanding front 2 .. miserable buggers tho in real life looool .
Will we ever see the like of them again ?

So talented so under appreciated he was a legend and still is
Scored a hat trick on his debut, went on to average 30 goals per season
He was the alan shearer of the 70s no one could touch him he had everything pace strength and goals . He was my hero as a 14 year old SUPERMAC ⚽️
shearer not in same town never mind same street
The Geordie 🐐
The goal at St James against Leicester that was never captured on TV - smashed from the edge of the opposition centre circle, in the air for a full four seconds and Mark Wallington was still clutching at straws. The crowd was still buzzing two minutes afterwards.
Agree. Always remember that goal. I was standing in the Popular End that day (which was unusual as I normally stood in the Leazes end) I was practically level where he struck the ball. Talk about flying into the net. Hot the Leazes netting before you could blink. You are also right, it was never on TV, such a shame. I believe the score ended 3-0
Would’ve been even better if Sunderland had bothered to turn up for the game. Training exercise for Newcastle.
Great player.
Anyone who thinks this wasn’t fixed needs mental support !
From Longbenton A scorer and assisted
Amazing❤❤❤❤❤
Total bollox in good jest
New sub lads
