10/7/24 carb adjustment
SERIOUSLY considering switching the carb onto the truck since I have a possible buyer for the EFI intake stuff. BUT, the rear accelerator pump is leaking. So I have to see if any of the screws are loose or else I am going to be buying a replacement accelerator pump diaphram.

Made some GOOD progress in this video!! October 3, 2024 Moved the HALO rings for the headlights to the turn signals so that they would be more visible.

9/29/2024 update video 9/30/2024 - Got a new starter and genuine GM crank sensor ordered. Also got the hobofreight wire rack that had gone off sale on me and cost me an extra $16. So now I can work on wiring up the lights at the rear of the truck for parking(running), brake, left and right turn, and reverse lights. I just have to find enough loom to put them in to protect them from being damage...

Just another update about what all is being done to the Ranger. Still more stuff to get ordered to get it how I want it for street driving. Doesn't seem like a lot left to do but it actually is. It is all the small stuff that eats up all the time. That, plus not feeling all the great and having a hard time moving around (ankle problems).

Working on getting the tail lights installed and partly wired up. Still a lot to do since I don't yet have the money to get wire to make the necessary runs to the corners from the switches and the battery.

Quick note: The yellow LEDs work fine even on a 20V Battery pack. Same for the small green bulbs I plan to install in the dash once I get the plate made.
Im doing a Ls3/6L80E in a 03'Crown Vic Police Interceptor . Its a project with my grandkids. Wow that starter sounds like its dying !!! Lol.
It has officially croaked. Seller offers a 1 year warranty but their idea of honoring the warranty is just issuing a refund and hanging me out to dry.

That is ebay. I got it off today and removed the back plate. 2 brush springs were so weak they would not push the brushes out. The brush contacts on the motor center were almost black. I will be ordering a new one probably next wednesday or thursday, I hope.
