If you're going to do a video on Arizona, maybe you should learn to pronounce the names of the areas correctly.

Zinque should have been on the list because most the others are typical Tex mex American comfort food and Zinque is more European for a change.

I grew up in South Scottsdale. On 68th and McDowell. If you don't remember Los Arcos Mall. You didn't live in the best time that South Scottsdale was. And was is the operative word. Because the entire area is a toilet now.

Some of your choices are good; AZ88, in particular. However, you'll take Hula's over Olive & Ivy? You'll take The Cornish Pasty Co. over the Outrider Rooftop Lounge (7th floor at the Canopy Hotel with the best views over all of Old Town)? Dont' get me wrong, I enjoy Hula's and The Cornish Pasty Co, but I think I can count at least two dozen Old Town restaurants with outdoor seating and then as you go north and east, you'll find dozens and dozens more. Also, Positano's has another location in Tempe, which, I think, was the original location. It's good, if you're looking for bruschetta. BTW, have you ever been to The Cornish Pasty Co.? They do NOT serve pastries, but pasties, a large English (from Cornwall) turnover filled with whatever you want (the menu offers over 50 different combinations and the Scotch eggs are terrific).

Just moved into the PHX area yesterday from FL, I work for the airlines by day, but been a yoga teacher for 17 years, taught in various studios and gym throughout the years. These were designed by George Christensen, a prolific Phoenix architect. He did tons of houses and many churches. Quite a few high end custom houses in Paradise Valley. He frequently taught at ASU between 1960 and 2003 (I was in his last class). He died in 2003 between semesters. Interestingly, he studied under both Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. I’ve always loved Spanish Gardens, and especially the units that haven’t been renovated or painted inside. The original bathrooms were great-I wish more people would keep them.
