This channel began simply as a way to share our experiences with long distance family members. Over time, I developed a passion for video editing. This is a small, but growing channel mostly dedicated to experiences in the outdoors and adventures with my small family.

Are you happy you left Arkansas?!
We are at peace with our decision and our happy to be back in Montana. The best way I can sum it up is a quote by John Steinbeck, “For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love.”
@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms Yeah the hardest part about moving is not having a job laid out. I had one already so it made things a bit easier but still is a lot different here. Glad you are happy with you decision wish you the best
Arkansas is not for everyone. I moved here from Midwest for work. Work is good but this state is really not for us we been thinking of movie closer to NWA hoping it would be bit better and more diverse.
Northwest Arkansas is a great hub of recreation, culture, and diversity. There are many things about that area we miss, specifically the bike trails for me. There is definitely a different vibe compared to the other parts of the state we visited while living there. As you know, there are a few corporate entities that call northwest Arkansas home, Walmart, Tyson, and Harps, to name a few. Due to that, it’s rapidly growing and the cost of living tends to be higher compared to the rest of the state, but still low compared to the national average. We really enjoyed our time in Bentonville, but greatly missed living in the northwest Rocky Mountains.
Beautiful!
I am so glad you are back in Montana. The videos just keep getting better, keep them coming!
Thank you, having lived in a few different states now, I can fully appreciate this quote by John Steinbeck: “For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection, but with Montana it is love, and it's difficult to analyze love when you're in it.”
I almost got cold watching it ! Beautiful as usual ! You edit them so well !
Where can I buy the hitch ????
I would recommend searching “Rear Bumper Hitch Fascia for Jeep Renegade” when I purchased mine from Amazon it was around $25, but noticed it’s over $70 on Amazon now. I found a more affordable one on this website: www.extremeterrain.com/jeep-rengade-rear-bumper-hitch-fascia-black-1268228.html
My apologies, I would recommend buying the kit from Renegade Ready, I believe it has everything you need to complete the job. Here is the link: renegadeready.com/jeep-renegade-trailer-hitch-retrofit-kit-by-renegade-ready-6179
That is a beautiful place! Thanks for capturing the hike for us in the flatlands. It's a blessing to be able to share that hike Renee.
Dreary days in Florida usually are only in Fall and Winter. I have the same feeling too. Fall and Winter here are a rest from the heat. Also, all the holidays associated with that time of year. Another great video!
😂 absolutely no process shown How to do any of it. It's almost laughable
I apologize that you were unable to find value in this video. On my channel I capture experiences in my life that I find value in. This video was intended to share the process of a hitch install while I was spending time with family in Florida, and was not intended to be a step by step guide. There are many videos and guides here on TH-cam that detail the process far better than I did. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I hope you find what you are looking for and wish you the best of luck.
Hope things are going well Great video photography and editing! I get what you are saying as Bentonville and BellaVista real estate is a good investment but by no means a good deal.
@@johnh4650 Thank you! We really enjoyed our time in Bentonville but missed the Montana lifestyle (especially the snowy winters). For us, the Northwest provides ample opportunity to satiate our love of living in the mountains.
The core is cool but did I tell you about the Shoshone arrowheads I found? I'm also glad you made it back to the truck.
Good as always !
Thank you!
super!interesting masterpiece~ godspeed~ Joshua-

Kinch's trail looks amazing! The scavenging part was pretty funny. I'm looking forward to part 2!
@@ralphwhite759I have a Timelapse of the whole trail but it’s over 3 minutes long so I condensed it down. It’s definitely my favorite feature on his property.
Would not mind going back but need a man, oddly i stay lonely in arkansas where as other places i am not, arkansas is reminders of empty childhood
snowbowl was way better than i expected
This is the most 90s style video ive ever seen that isnt a decade old yet
I agree😢
Good stuff. I have been considering moving from Wyoming to Arkansas or Oklahoma, partly due to the more affordable land. I've watched several of your videos about your move...and move back. You have given me some things to think about. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
Thanks for sharing your input, it’s been almost a year since moving back to Montana and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We’re grateful for the memories and experiences we had in Arkansas, but missed the lifestyle of living in the Rocky Mountains. The northwest is expensive, but if we can sustain keeping a roof over our head whether we rent or buy, it’s worth it for the privilege to call Montana home.
I remember always having to slow down for you too on our bike ride in Arkansas. One day you will build up some endurance😂 Of course, I'm kidding. You did a beautiful ride! The valley views look amazing!
Glacier is a beautiful place. It’s definitely worth experiencing, just not in peak tourist season.
I will join the group in thanking you! Vicariously enjoyed the ride ! Did you guys leave one vehicle on the other end to get back :)
Thank you, we rode up the west side and back down. Would have been great to ride up the west and down the east, but it would have been difficult logistically with two vehicles.
Amazing Josh, both the effort and the breathtaking scenery.. congratulations!
Didn’t see anyone using a me-mover…maybe next year ;)
As I was watching i was wondering if an old man on a Me-Mover could do it
Great work, Josh! Thanks for creating this beautiful piece of art.
Thanks for making this possible, you were the executive producer for this production.
Josh you are super talented in a lot of ways. I am amazed Black held up after the abuse he was taking here in Florida. I guess I'm glad he has a murse to wear now. Great video!
Thank you!!! He has undergone some repairs from all the love he has endured.
Awesome video, Happy Birthday Tylee!!
Thank you!
Awesome!
Thats a gorgeous ride!
Thank you, I’m always in awe that we live in such a beautiful place.
Is the water warm?
On this trip it was, the shoreline warms up to a very tolerable temperature late July to August.
@joshuawhiteadventurefilms Thanks for the info, now I know when to go there. I never been there before, is the water super clear?
It’s a very clear lake, lots of recreation opportunities and state parks on its shores. It’s definitely worth visiting.
@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms preciate ya!!!!
I've lived in Arkansas for 29 years, and am what southerners would call a "damned yankee", as I'm someone who moved to Arkansas from up north and chose to stay. I spent most of my time with a career in South Arkansas, not an easy feat, as careers there are not as common as you would hope, and they don't always pay as well. I now live in northern Arkansas, and am very happy in my retirement. I've discovered that Arkansas is two distinct places, and maybe even three. The southern part of the state is still in the past, and my experience was that it is poor, repressed, and can be quite unsettled and racist. It is also quite poor and the crime levels can be quite high. Northern Arkansas is conservative and a much larger percentage of the population is white, something I was not used to 'down south'. It actually surprised me how few in this area are not white. Crime is less, and there are retirees everywhere, from almost every state in the country. Then there is central Arkansas, which is dominated by Little Rock, one of the worse cities for crime in the country. I go thru Little Rock still about 1-2 times a year, but typically never stop. Why did I stay? Because in spite of the things I mentioned above, it's a beautiful state, and the good people make up for the bad. And northern Arkansas has much of what I was looking for as a retirement area, and the folks here are even nicer and the cities cleaner and doing good business, with very few that are shut down. I'd say the economy here is as good as you will find in the mid-south. It's home now. Oh, and the cost of living here is another great thing about it.
We ended up moving back to Montana. Our experience in Northwest Arkansas wasn’t bad, it simply didn’t work out for us because we really missed the quality of life in Montana. We really enjoyed the biking and vibe of Bentonville, but missed the snow and more mild summers. Despite growing up in Florida, I was not prepared to endure the heat and humidity after being in the Northwest for over a decade. Arkansas is a beautiful state and we enjoyed some great experiences there. I’m grateful for the time we spent there. If you want a more detailed explanation, I will link a video where I reflect on our departure from Arkansas. th-cam.com/video/L_4tMQgh7Ck/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xMfJJGnbkdnOa5Zh
So, you worked in South Arkansas, but not Northern Arkansas, and are critical of where you made your living. If you were viewed as a “damned Yankee”, it was probably your attitude.SE Arkansas is closer to Louisiana and the further South you go, the hospitality still exists.
@@LorenzoMagnesium-cu8pr Ha ha. You speak of that which you do not know, Lorenzo. If you lived there, you would know that term can be one they would give to Yankees in general. Or, they say it to joke with you. The fact is, many southerners and not just South Arkansans refer to most of us northerners as 'damn yankees', if you are a yankee who came to south arkansas and decided to make it your home. It is not usually a derogative term, and in my case it wasn't used that way. You are in error, friend, as I did not speak any lies in my words. I am, however, critical of real racism and poverty and lack of jobs, and keeping poor people poor. The fact of the matter is, during my many years down there, I had a great deal of affection for many I came to know and I am still friends with many of the people who worked for me, and I found so many of them are wonderful people I'm sorry if I did not make that plain enough for your brain to grasp, it's just that I didn't want to go into more detail for folks that have trouble picking up on things, such as yourself. Yes, the hospitality is wonderful in south Arkansas, and most people with any education realize that "Arkansas is closer to Louisiana", but closer than what? Minnesota? That was deep, sir. My question for you is, have you ever lived there, or were you just trolling?
@@EGlideKid First of all, we don’t take kindly to northerners coming to our state and calling us racists, when the North is far more segregated than the South in many areas still, today. That was your first mistake, being a hypocrite. I was born in Pine Bluff, so that was your second mistake, assuming I was not from the state. Lastly, I never once heard the term “damn yankee” growing up. Wrong again. So,maybe you are just a carpetbagger, trolling. That is probably more accurate.
Don’t be Sonny Bono by hitting a tree and dying. Of course he was skiing but still!
I try to look at the trail more than the trees because that’s where I want my tires to go ;).
Just did it this evening. Went up the L trail. To the top. Did you guy's start in Lincoln wood or Marshall side ?
We started from the Lincoln Hills trailhead.
4th generation Californian on my way out too -Not good for me any more here I don’t feel safe or feel I fit in here I don’t recognize California anymore 😢
We actually moved back to Montana back in October. It’s very expensive living here but we missed the quality of life that Montana offers. Best of luck on your move, Arkansas is not a bad place to live, we just missed the vast wilderness, large mountains, winter recreation.
moved from CA (Central Valley) to N Arkansas in 2017, no regrets absolutely love it!!
One of these days we’ll have to continue on to The Jack Saloon and back.
That would be an awesome out and back trip!
Enjoyed it. At some points when you had the camera setting it seemed to follow you? Am I imaging things :) an allusion ?
It’s neither, simply editing done in post. By slightly zooming in on the video clip, you can mimic a camera panning from a static shot.
WOW teeth jaring riding :) Can you put wider tires on the new bike ?
Already did, put a slightly wider tire with more aggressive tread to increase performance off-road.
The tires are crazy looking!
They are hybrid, but don’t do so well on loose gravel.
How much on average does this cost? (Tow hitch & install)
As of this comment, the kit is $799 on Renegade Ready (link below) If you do it yourself, you save on labor. renegadeready.com/jeep-renegade-trailer-hitch-retrofit-kit-by-renegade-ready-6179
@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms Whats an estimate on the labor because I don't have the tools and equipment to do it myself.
I wouldn’t be able to give you an accurate quote from our install because it was my brother that did the job and we used a friends’ shop, so I didn’t pay for labor. Furthermore, we goofed off a lot and didn’t have all the necessary parts at time of install, so calculating an accurate time frame for the install would be difficult. My best guess, I believe it’s a 2-3 hour install and shops charge a labor rate typically between $110-$160 an hour. If you go to the dealership, I have heard they do OEM installs around $1400 with parts and labor, though that price may vary. Good luck!
Great video Josh
Thanks Zane!
Great perspective! I was also thinking living near Jacksonville gun shots are normal also.
I imagine it’s a bit more intimidating when you hear it in Jacksonville.
I want to do that ! How did you get the video of your family too ?
They had cameras on each cart…but you had to pay for the footage.
At 1st I said no way, but if Tylee likes it I'd have to give it a go : )
We can have you sit in the cart before committing so you can see how easy it is to brake just like Tylee did 😉
@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms That'll work!
Might have to check this out when me and my daughter go to glacier this summer.
It’s worth the stop, we really enjoyed it and will be back.
It looked fun!
Lots of fun!
Religion is the worship of God, the way He wants to be worshiped. Saint Thomas Aquinas, Catechism of the Summa Theologica: “The virtue of religion (so-called because it constitutes the bond par excellence which unites man to God, who is the source of all man's good) is a perfection of the will inclining man to acknowledge, as it behoves, his absolute dependence upon God, who is the first beginning and the last end of all.” “Every act which, of itself, makes man recognize his dependence upon God is the proper object of the virtue of religion. But this virtue may ordain to this same end all the acts of the other virtues,; and in this case it makes the whole of man's life an act of worship of God.” “The first interior act of religion is called devotion. Man's first act in the service of God is prayer. .. The form of prayer par excellence of this kind which is called the “Our Father” or the Lord's prayer... We may pray to creatures, angels and saints, to intercede for us before God. Of course we follow what God has ordained toward religion and not what man has ordained. One can not have a relationship with God if he does not except what Jesus Christ revealed to us about God. If someone has a false opinion about God, he cannot worship the true God. St. Thomas in his Summa Theologica, II, II. He says: “Now, man is more than ever separated from God by unbelief because he has not even true knowledge of God, and by a false knowledge of God man does not approach Him, but is severed from Him, nor is it possible for one who has a false opinion of God to know Him in any way at all because the object of His opinion is not God.” What God has ordained is found in the written word as well as the spoken word or traditions of the Church, the one Church which Christ founded on St. Peter who is the rock. Galatians 1:8-9 “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. As we said before, so now I say again: If anyone preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.” 2 Thessalonians - "Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." go to VaticanCatholic.com
"For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable." [Romans 1:20] This is how we know God exists but in order to have a relationship with Him, we need to follow the teachings of Christ in all things. And being in the mountains and forests reminds us of this if we are wise. God controls and governs all: "But thy providence, O Father, governeth it: for thou hast made a way even in the sea, and a most sure path among the waves," [Wisdom 14:3] Jesus Christ created one Church that He established on Peter in the Gospel and the Bible teaches the Catholic faith and no other. All other false sects reject some parts of the Gospel or most parts. They rely on their own fallible interpretation of Scripture and not on the protection that Christ gave His one true Church the Catholic Church in the Gospel. If your truth lies within you, that is not truth. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. And the Bible tells us where this deposit of truth lies in the Church! 1 Timothy 3:15: "..THE CHURCH of the living God, the PILLAR AND GROUND OF THE TRUTH" This is why Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:17 -“And if he will not HEAR THE CHURCH, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.” You are NOT God and are subject to the lies of the devil which will guide you if you don’t hear the Church. Notice that Jesus said, if a man does not hear the Church, he is to be treated as the heathen and the Gospel also says that the gods of the heathen are devils. 1 Cor. 10:20- “But the things which the heathens sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God. And I would not that you should be made partakers with devils.” Psalms 95:5- “For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils…” Also, that the wisdom of God is made known “through the Church” and His glory is in the Church. Therefore, the wisdom of God is in the Church and those who refuse to hear the Church are outside the Church; are heathens, and worship devils. Ephesians 3: 10 “That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the Church.” Ephesians 3: 21 “To Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations world without end. Amen.” Jesus never said to just listen to God’s voice in you!! In fact, Scripture warns about private interpretation in 2 Peter. 2 Peter 1:20-21 - “Understanding this first: that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation. For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.” The Church that Jesus talks about is that clearly set up in Matt. 16:18-19 and else where. Rome was the center of the leadership of the Church for 20 centuries and the Church was called Catholic in 110 A.D. by St. Ignatius, bishop of Antioch and pupil of St. John of the Gospel, outside of which there is no salvation as has been taught by the Church of Christ for over 20 centuries. The Vatican II Sect in Rome is NOT the Catholic Church. That is a fact! endtimes.video/apocalypse-now-in-the-vatican/ If you care about your soul, you need to convert to the Catholic faith; the only true faith of Christ. Go to VaticanCatholic.com and learn the true faith to save souls.
Awesome.
Thank you.
Faith is the substance produced by our belief.
The problem isn't I see nothing in the mirror. It's I see too much! Just kidding. Great points though.
Fair point🤣
Anybody successful with pulling a 5x8 uhaul trailer with 1 of these? Seems like an asian car sized American priced suv. I've had it a few weeks it's nothing like an actual jeep imo. Terrified to haul at this point 🤷♂️
The Jeep Renegade is built on the Fiat 500x drive train, it’s basically a Fiat with Jeep badging. Ours is a 2017 and the sticker on the driver side door panel says “made in Italy”. The Renegade is not a “actual Jeep”, and in my opinion, there have been significant compromises to the brand since Fiat acquired Chrysler in 2014. I’m no expert on towing as I mostly use my hitch for a 3 bike carrier but I will provide a link from a Renegade forum pertaining to towing experiences. Here is a statement from the forum: Hi everyone, i have a 2018 jeep renegade upland edition 2.4I W 9spd transmission and I towed a 5 x 8 uhaul trailer this past march from upstate New York to central Florida. No issues to report other then gas consumption, which was to be expected considering the extra weight. You just have to take your time when towing. Yes, the tow requirements for the renegade is a 2.4 L / 9 speed automatic transmission with a max weight of 2000 lbs. That's for trailer/cargo/ and anything inside the jeep as well. Good luck and happy trails” www.jeeprenegadeforum.com/threads/tried-towing-with-the-renegade-post-pics-and-experiences-here.21769/
Hello good afternoon, what is the technical specification of this towing kit for the Jeep renegade?
This is a OEM hitch that was retrofitted on a trim level that didn’t include a tow package. The Jeep Renegade is typically rated to tow 2,000lbs with the 2.3L 9 speed automatic. In the US, the 1.4L manual transmission’s are “not recommended for towing”.
