Nice video! Great job! Very helpful! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Hi, Jecicca, Love watching your videos! You did a great job! Thank you so much for sharing! Do you know how many properties may be built on a lot over 15 acres of land in Joshua Tree?
how big are those?
Jessica, I've been trying to find out about a home that my in-laws owned and built from a small cabin they bought back in the 60's my wife and I used to love going out there for a visit with them after they passed my brother in-law sold the home. It backed up to joshua tree national monument and at that time the address was 7250 Davenport road. Anyway my question is would you possibly be able to tell me how I could find out if it's still there or see some pictures of it and see how much it's changed if any?
What a neat story. Next time I’m in the area I’ll drive by for you. What’s your email address? Or text me your email address please?

damn she's drunk af doing this video lolol....or just slow
If you need any assistance finding housing, I’m happy to help
Interesting place. We should stop by.
I'm coming back after 46 years
🎉 welcome back!
@jessicathiele2727 The Marines sent me there in 1975 and I couldn't stand the place that is until I woke up one day looked at the brown mountains and realized I could really like this place when I got out of the Marines I stuck around for a year then went back to N.J. After forty years in San Jose it's time for one more chapter of my life back in 29 still in contact with a few friends mostly at the Bowladium. What I always liked about 29 is nonconformity is tolerated as long as one has kindness RIP George Mintz, Ray Pro, Chuck Rukas and others from my bowling alley click
Bro how can they record a desert and call it beautiful. It’s not
Move to 29 Palms and free a Marine.
NO I went through there many times in The Marines!!!! There is nothing good there. PERIOD!!!
Campbell Hill Bakery has gone out of business.
Ah no! They are missed
Hate it here. Haven't met anyone who likes this dump. Could go on and on
Are you related to Christi Thiele?
Yes I am
What are some of the bad things you covered alot of good things the heat is one but what should I expect if I bought a property an don't have anything when u get there
Is there any spiritual retreat for yoga practice?
Yes all over here in the high desert!
It’s fine in 29. 😂
Sure is, I love 29
2.5 hours to LAX if you leave by 3-4 am.
Good for 55 plus?
Yes absolutely
After covid and the Airbnb bust, have things changed? I think several bought a house or land and now, with the Airbnb cap (and locals resenting outsiders running Airbnbs) and now want to sell. There was a bust, no? Locals need housing not yuppie capitalists trying to make a buck.😊
I'll settle for a burger at the bowladium
Great video! My nephew manages the Gates of Spain! such a fun town!
Thanks! Yucca is such a neat little town.
is 29palms a safe area I want to visit your area or do you have alot of car break inns Thank You
All high desert area are safe as far as I know
@@jessicathiele2727 Thank You
Hi is TwentyNine Palms a safe neighborhood or is it like Oakland with all the robbers .We want to see Joshua N P
All of the high desert is generally safe. There only a few areas I would stay away from which Im willing to share!
@@jessicathiele2727 Thank you Jessica were should i stay away from me and my family
dont dont do it
Why?
@wanderingdaze7018 I got here as active duty military and unfortunately I have to stay until my kids were old enough to move this place is boring offers absolutely nothing. Unless outdoor stuff is the only thing you're interested in there's nothing here
Just moved over here, ima try all three thanks
Twentynine Palms and Joshua tree and Yucca Valley are hell to live in. The crime rate has increased by 22% in the last year and the cost of living has gone up tremendously don't let anyone fool you
Do you live there?
Could you talk about Jobs? On another vide
Thats a great idea!
The hat she’s wearing would suggest she’s more of a “Joshua Tree” person.
Hi Jessica, thank you for the video. I may be working in 29 Palms starting in August this year. Can you tell me about the air quality during fire season? Thanks!
Hi 👋 my best advice on the most accurate and current information on air quality during fire season, it's advisable to check real-time updates from sources such as the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) AirNow website, local air quality monitoring stations, or apps like PurpleAir.
is there all kind of doctors offices ? and what about hospital or emergency clinics and dentist ?
Yes we have all medical care available and even more in the low desert.
❤❤❤Jessica, I am planning to buy a home in Yucca Valley or Victorville❤❤❤❤ f
I’m happy to assist when ready 7606697787 😊
Thank you Jessica for sharing
Good afternoon Jessica thank you for sharing this video I been in 29 palms city for the last 7 years is beautiful place I love peace and quiet people are friendly over all more than big city is just very hard for single men who is looking for the future wife because the ratio like 90% men 10% women or 80% men 20% women and these single women I wish if they have more single woman looking for their future husband yes if you have any advice please let me know
Advice, possibly attend or get involved in community events to meet locals? I meet wonderful people here because of my job 😊
Bwaaahahahahaha
❤❤❤ amazing !
❤❤❤❤❤beautiful❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹
Jessica I am thinking on buy a home in Yucca Valley❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yesss so excited to see the new videos!!!
I heard there is a shopping center project coming soon
There’s a lot of growth in the 29 Palms area. Seems like the city welcomes infrastructure to take care of their military, which is excellent. There is now a cute little downtown area!
Any high psying jobs out there
A lot of people work in the low desert or remote and commute to La if need be
@@jessicathiele2727 that's a far commute
Been here (JTV) for 7 years and I absolutely LOVE IT !!!
Same, love it! Been here since 2006 and still adore jt ❤
@@jessicathiele2727 very nice … I’m an RN @ Hi-Desert 💪🏾
Hi Jessica, Do you know anyone who lives off grid in JT/wonder valley etc.. looking at an off grid RL5 cabin but I’d love to know the reality of long term off grid desert living. Thank you
I do. My cell is 760-669-7787 text me let’s chat further 😊
I live in 29 Palms it’s hot as hell in the summer cold in the winter cool and very windy unless you’re in the military you can not go to the naval hospital high desert hospital is also known as high death the national park is cool, the water sucks so buy bottled water instead grocery prices suck everything is way too expensive gas prices are high yeah living in 29 Palms is great lol
Could you do anything on landers? Might be too far out but heard it was blowing up as well. Also would be cool to get a video on Palm Springs versus Desert Hot Springs. Love your content!
Thanks for the idea!
Honestly, if you like living in the desert, there are much nicer, much more affordable places with waaaaay more amenities in Arizona and Texas and you don't have California's insane taxes , cost of living, and crazy politics. You can always visit California from either of those states - 12 hour drive from Texas, 6 hours from AZ. I live in West Texas - My parents live in Scottsdale which is the same desert environment as 29 Palms except West Texas is friendlier and Scottsdale has more millionaires, lol. Plus they're way more to do and places to go in both places. I've never lived in 29 Palms but I've been through there many many times on my trips to and from California and it's never looked like the kind of place I'd want to live. There's nothing there, and its hot af - one summer there were car stalled all over the highway from ppls tires literally melting off. 29 Palms is a drive-through town and always the most boring part of the journey that we're always trying to hurry up and get through. Unless I were a Marine stationed there with no choice, I wouldn't live there. Or anywhere in California to be fair because the whole state is effed up, but 29P is definitely a place to live only if you're a soldier - or an illegal or criminal trying to fly under the radar.
Just depends on what youre looking for I guess. I live in Long Beach CA and have amenities everywhere that I rarely use and I always miss going out to the desert just to relax and be away from civilization. Arizona and Texas seem appealing because like you said the insane politics and regulations arent there as much. Im looking for acreage in the desert but I need to be able to hire contractors and be a reasonable driving distance to the big box stores. 29 isnt too bad since they have access to that stuff to the west.
I lived in yucca valley from 2006-2017 , i love the town . plan on moving back up there from Palm Desert this year .
I absolutely love it here too some don’t like the growth that has taken place in the last few years but it is also brought new stores and restaurants, so I’m happy with that. If you need any assistance when moving back, feel free to reach out.
@@jessicathiele2727 Defiantly , yeah my family has lived in Yucca Valley since 1988 and current . I graduated from Yucca high in 2006 . If you love the off-road hobbies Yucca is great for that , king of the hammers , JT dry lake bed , johnson valley etc . Cant wait to move back up there , get more bang for your buck renting . The job market isn’t great , i’ll be commuting from Yucca to palm desert because i have a descent job down here that pays well .
your gorgeous
That’s creepy. Let’s keep it about real estate, eh?
