Biology is one of the major areas in Forensic Science. Blood, semen, saliva & other body fluids are routinely employed in crime investigations. Insect are used to study the PMI. DNA stands to be the ultimate evidence in the court of Law.
Forensic expert must be familiar with the Basics of Biology in order to properly collect, process and analyze the biological specimens.
This Channel is outreach activity of the department.
Resourceful content on different areas of forensic biology are shared through this channel.
It will help the students learn the core & applied Biology, which may benefit them for NET, SET, GATE, FACT, ARS and other Life Science exams like NEET, Medical & PG entrance exams
Subscribe and share, if found helpful.
Thanks in anticipation!!

Dear Sir, Topic are well Explained, much informative. That's great. Thank you@Nitin
You explained in very simple and easy way👌👌👌
whats the difference between post colonisation interval and post-mortem interval
Is it possible to find Blood Group From Dry Blood Sample Of 60 Days Old And If yes What Are Accuracy Percentage
Very informative video👍
Nice explaination sir 👍...can we reduce the time of heating at 100 degree

Voice very low
thank you so much sir for uploading can you upload more videos on forensic science
Thank you
Sir I'm an agricultural graduate....I'm studying entomology....so how can I become a forensic entomologist ? Please help
In my opinion, practicing forensic entomology is very less as little Scientific literature are available. To be expert in this field one needs to defend doctoral (MD/PHD)thesis along with one peer reviewed publication. It comes under Forensic biology aspect. Agriculture entomology is subjectively different from this field , however they also apply the concept degree days /thermal development principles but that for different aspect
How much it cost in India
Not visible clearly nd low voice
MLSU se koi ayaa hai ? 😂
RCA se aaya hu....😢
Sir please speak in hindi
Ok we will try from next time
Nice informative video sir it is easy to understand.
Thanks for the compliment
Thank you all for the compliment and encouragement. We would love to hear more from you. Best wishes. Happy Learning.
Sir, very good explanation. This is my PhD topic of research, I am currently working on it. The topic for PMI estimation from entomological evidence is so interesting and challenging. There are many factors that governs the development of maggots and can potentially confound the estimated PMI.
Thanks for the compliment and Yes this is one of the promising area in forensic biology. Best wishes for your Doctoral research.
Plz help me for my thesis topic on that
