I was in there last week to get an extra key...they wanted $250.00 but I had a key contract when I bought the car 2018 Escape SE. I originally requested both be done at the same time and would have paid but after 2 hours there for a key...seems they didn't have time. WHAT a bloody joke! I'll be driving a little further if I ever need a FORD Dealership again. Thats so short-sighted on their part! It took me all of 8 minutes and 1 minute after I was able to contort properly (ouch but way worth it) Won't be recommending them thats for sure!

I'm the Locksmith that was there that day, and YES there is a way to get in this SUV through the back. You unscrew the tag lights and you put a flat head in there and bend a metal plate that's there..you look up with a flash light and you'll see a wire kinda deep in there and you pull it with a coat hanger or anything with a little hook at the end. That's the emergency latch. The back window will pop up. I was doing that but it was my first time at the time so it was taking me a little longer then usual and the blonde chick was drunk and had NO patience so she just bust the window!
Thanks for the walkthrough but I've done everything as far as bending the plate back but I don't see a wire to pull... any guidance on what side to look on? Thanks
Wow I can't believe I just saw that with my own eyes I just broke into a 2004 Range Rover HSE no damage to the vehicle but I did charge about 150 dollars for that type of expertise wow just so much fail
I love this i work for a really good towing company and does AAA roadside assistance and there is no way to get in one with out the key that won't require a trip down to the dealership afterwards. Its one of the fun things about that car the only thing that i can find is to hope the keys are on a seat that you can fish for through the door. But im still looking for any other way to get in. Fun fun.
