Concert in Melbourne, St Kilda Palais theatre tonight was Ahhhmazing. It didn't have dance/acrobatics, but believe me, I felt like I died and went to musical heaven. The musicians were not only extremely talented and coping under pressure as one of the ensemble was unwell and could not perform, yet it all looked seamless. The musicians were so so so gracious and I will dine off those memories for the rest of my life. I first heard the music 30plus years ago when my flatmat introduced me to it, and it is timeless and compelling, thank you so so so very much Mike Oldfield and musicians that gave an outstanding performance. I love percussion, and to see 3 sets of drums, plus the all the guitars, keyboards, and most enjoyable of all was Ed who would dance in his chair when not playing. Such a lovely joyous thing to witness. ♥️ ❤❤🎉🐨🦘🦘🦘🐨
