The Boeing doors are safer though, since they open inside out, they have the whole pressure of the cabin pushing it to a close position. From what I remember Airbus doors open outside out, putting a constant pressure on the door when the A/C is pressurised. But yes the Boeing doors on the 737 are a bit archaic in the way they operate, but since everything is manual it adds safety as well.
Most pressurised airliners have doors that are held closed by the internal pressure, and are impossible to open in flight. It's not so clear that's true with this door.
@@sammy2745 I say yes as I am agreeing that it is more complicated compared to the 320. I say it is safer as if the door was not closed completely and there was an opened seal, the chances of something going wrong is higher on the 320 than 737.
In an Airbus there is an ARMING indicator. Armed it will deploy the slide. There is also a pressure sensor, a locked/unlocked indicator and the door has to be pushed out then slid sideways so Air Pressure can't explode it outwards.
google ;I am having hell of time understanding the cargo doors of the E 190 . I don't understanding the handle system but flush is easy . I have opened many aircraft doors as an aircraft cargo loader but the E 190 cargo doors have been the hardest I have experienced .
Plug doors. A simple and elegant concept that adds redundancy by it's very nature. The door is too big to fit through the opening so it has to be pushed in and turned first.
Yay! it's awesome! What i quite don't understand is how Airbus doors keep airtight because the door *should* be the same size as its hole and that means the locking rigs/pins take all the force as of the Boeing 737 door some force is taken off the pins/rigs and into the door frame as the Boeing 737 door is bigger than its hole.
Samuel Karlsson yes but the airbus door expands upwards and downwards when the handle is pulled. Concealed sections of the door are inside the door when it’s opened, and when it’s shut they come down and up outwards from each edge of the door up and down and lock into place.
Bad opening and closing cabin door system, the best system was a heritage from the magnificient and unforgetable Lockheed L1011 Tristar....DC10-MD11 and B767....
OM part B 12.25: The escape slide is automatically disarmed when the door is opened from outside. The vent flap opens automatically when the lower part of the external handle is pulled.

Thank youuuuuuuuuuu
737 is a piece of shit aircraft that should have stayed in the 60s
im 13 yrs old and i know how to open all plane doors
Boeing lover
Thank you for the video. My employer is now employing these and its going to be a real trip to get used to lol
It is a door design inherited from the 707 (same basic fuselage dimensions/nose area) and used on the 727 and 737 as well.
Thanks for tutorial needed it didn’t realize the door had an unlock on the hinges

Apparently, there is a secret way to open those doors ... just take off 😊
1. 에미레이트 B777 2. Jetblue E190 3. 전일본공수(ANA) B787 4. 대한항공 A320 겹치는 기종이 정말 완벽히 없음....
Тільки згадував за вас, що давно Едварда не бачив. І ось ютуб видав) будь ласка!
I prefer Airbus doors.
Airbus doors are soooooo much easier to manage wow !
It's not Airbus
LOL😂

This plane is ukraine international but its b737 800
Yes, we can see that. And some Russian man even asked for its registration number...
Door is a pain to open! Why was it even made :(
Airplane door: So nobody gets sucked out and dies mid-flight
Most pressurised airliners have doors that are held closed by the internal pressure, and are impossible to open in flight. It's not so clear that's true with this door.
How did i stumble on this? is there some weird group of people who like youtube videos about opening and closing airplane doors?
people who work in the industry, so yes, a weird group of people
Какой бн у данного самолёта?
Great!
Nice! I like and learding
I always pretend my car door was that door 😂😂😂
I love all the door 🚪 on every airplane ✈️
Okay I deserve training
Opening door a320 I think is more easily than compare boeing 737
So glad I work an airbus fleet lol
Why such an oldschool, hard to use, awful door?! The A320’s door is much better.
Because it verv safe
It is like that because it is physically impossible to blow out. Yes, you have to man-handle the outside crank but, it is a mechanical tank.
Hey! Where are the English subtitles?
Lots of work and pretty complicated compared to the A320.
Seems easy to me...
I agree
Yes, But more safer(in a way)

I. WANT. ONE. OF. THESE!
i hate this door😡
Why??!! It's the most awesome door the world has to offer!
when i wrote that comment i couldn't open and close the door. it was so difficult for me T_T but now i can do it :D
You couldn't open it...it was heavy to swing or you didn't know how to use it? which?
Samuel Karlsson it was very heavy 😵
but atleast you *can* open it. :) see the bright side. :)
Thank you.
Do you have any video where the slide is uninstalled and taken to another door to serve as a flotation device ???
In an Airbus there is an ARMING indicator. Armed it will deploy the slide. There is also a pressure sensor, a locked/unlocked indicator and the door has to be pushed out then slid sideways so Air Pressure can't explode it outwards.
What is the point of that really small exit?
Why couldn't they have a normal sized exit?
Service door.
