I got into modular synthesis in 2019 while looking to enhance my soldering skills. Since then I only care about making sound. I'll use this channel to share what I'm up to sound-wise. Anything "live" is live improvisation and not previously recorded.

Make Noise Music Pressure Points was one of my first modules and I keep coming back to it as the best controller. #eurorack #experimentalmusic #noisemusic
First Patch Prism Circuits Quasar
มุมมอง 832 หลายเดือนก่อน
Beautiful machine from Prism Circuits with classic '73-'75 Serge circuits, paper-face era. Quasar is a brilliant selection of modules. There are plenty of sharp pics of this machine on the net - I had fun craking up the effects in fcpx. #modularsynth

driven by an SSG. my goto for random gates and usable stepped and smooth CV is smooth input (left) and coupler and stepped sample with stepped input (right) from SH Noise of the always-nearby Active Pro. Easier to patch than to explain - just 1 stackable and 2 regular cables. #eurorack #randomsource #sergemodular
sisters first patch

New production run of Mannequins Whimsical Raps Three Sisters. Mine arrived today - first patch. Lots of effects, including the stereo, but all sounds are coming out of the all jack first. Amazing module. #eurorack

Not a usual Strega sounds... Getting all the pitch and rhythm from envelope followers listening to the #makenoise strega. Snare sound keeping time is all strega. #eurorack

fantastic... love it! (is the small device a peterlin?)
Thx! - actually the Peterlin thru the Meris Ottobit Jr that did some glitch craziness at the end.
Yessss! 😊
So rich and deep, bravo !
assembly of a dream reaching inside!
Oh yes! 😊
amazing sounds. cool patch. really love it!
Amazing!!
Just wonderful...😊
Heavy!
Awesome jam sounds like if late 90s Ae meet early 2000s coil 🎛️🎧👌
Nice one m'friend 👌. I love Sisters. Just ordered the new Mangrove. As I understand it, tuning should be more stable .. Subscribed 😊
Would you have any vids of the vc res eq only? Really interested in this module but theres almost no info
I'll share more soon. Rs just put out a very nice one today.
@@navicore i have one on the way. Couldnt resist
Would love to hook up to a guitar and keyboard. 🎉⚡️✨️🥏🎶💥
interesting. What other modules are in the patch? Thanks
gates and cv from schlappi nibbler and boundary and nlc bindubba - and I think I remember there is an lfo modulating the envelopes
I think one of the inputs (high maybe) is noise from Intellijel's flurry :)
Sounds and feels so soothing after another day where my main concern is not going full blown insane hails from drauglur from germany I grant you my subscription

Excellent. Any opinion on essential Euro modules to expand a small RS Serge system?
thx! switches like a-151 are good and don't overlap. A shift-register is essential to old-school Serge IMO. If you don't have room for the Rs Active Processor (ACPR), then Euro utility mixers and VCAs.
I've heard two Doepfer A-171-2s is very much like a Serge DUSG.
I just picked one up watching your video on the ride home sounds great
So if you only had the Teleblender, would it generate sound? Or does it require a CV source?
Teleblender generates both CV and audio, two jacks, a separate output jack for each. I'm doing both CV and audio-rate modulation of the Sputnik here but you could patch the audio directly to an output module.
Yes please
Excellent stuff, they work so well together 👍
do these do anything musical?
Maybe synths aren’t for you; you should consider the viola or something else
Merveilleuses machines !!! bravo pour cette musique
perfect tool to become single
That’s okay, I can’t imagine having a partner that doesn’t like noise music anyways
it worked for me ! lol@@mikhel4048
This was genuinely relaxing to listen to
...nice demo...
Ok I love Errorinstruments a lot ! Paul Tas is a big man! Great sonic experiment here! Subscribed for more! 👍
How big are we talking here? Rock? Undertaker? Andre? Not sure why all my references were wrestlers.
brilliant demo
Fantastic - sounds like a robot tripping balls!
sounds muddy..
mine just arrived. STOKED
so. worth the money? How you diggen it?
@@director2bob super rad. Definitely going to take some time to learn it and be able to use it to make stuff. But so far, worth the cost I think.
Brilliant work on this Navi... gorgeous rig as well !
Thanks! That show was a blast.
Radioheadish af.
what a shitty demo
Perfect for Krum & Mace, Shrill and also some Hobble...
One of the coolest machines. I finally got one. It's amazing. Thanks for this.
enjoy! I'm still using mine in every patch in some way or other. it holds up.
@@navicore good to know!
this modular rack !
wowh !
Me Likey!
Wow great sounds!!
thanks!
The Freak Shift is one of the best bargains available right now. If more people understood what it was, for the price you pay, Doc wouldn't be able to fill all the orders he'd get.
Absolutely - I feel lucky and privileged to have this in the rack. Looking forward to his euro-ized ASR one day.
It's a lovely pedal but they should have given it a BPM parameter. Having to sync to MIDI for the BPM is a bit of a hassle. Plus MIDI can be laggy depending on what you have it synced to
You can easily tap tempo it
@@Josuryb only gets you ballpark - not beat accurate
@@cockur are we not humans! Lol I agree BPM setting would be nice!
@@Nospoon777 Ideally like the Eventide Space or Time Factor. Just set the BPM and put any drum machine, synth, plugin or whatever through it. Send tracks from your DAW through it over aux sends - everything in sync without a MIDI cable in sight
Midi sync is more accurate than BPM value without a sync. If you don't sync it, you are propably going to veeery slowly drift apart. Not to mention, if you want to change the tempo at some point.
Ordered mine last week. Hopefully I get into the January batch. After that its time to start saving for a hydrasynth.
I bought one of these based on this demo. Inspired work. Best money I ever spent.
This is awesome, one day…..one day….🤤
If you haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet - do it!
did u do it yet?
Great idea! Which drum machine is cranking here?
Thx. It is eurorack BAI, 2hp Hat, and Akemi's Taiko.
th-cam.com/video/FLT3Cb96-Mk/w-d-xo.html
Cool set, Ed! 🙌
Every month I search for someone who has a demo of the 2hp Nse because apparently no one has it! Thanks for posting this, if you happen to make a video detailing the Nse a little more, I would watch it!
Thanks for checking it out! I am thinking of doing a Knobs-style music+text-explanation demo video. Showing the NSE as a kick, snare, and melody S&H pitch source all in the same patch would be fun. I'll give it a try.
@@navicore Very nice, I'll subscribe so don't miss it!
