Ik this was 6th months ago but uhm my day was okay we were supposed to have marching band practice today but it got canceled and I was excited bc we need to set drill for 2nd movement so that bummed me out but it was okay
Aw mannn, I understand 100% the stress of having to set down drill within a set time but I'm sure it'll all be fine :) Being burnt out is just part of the fun so make the worst moments the best !!

Dude this is so sad im gonna miss these vlogs sm. Wednesday was my first day of marching band camp and its so sad knowing that i only have 3 more years of band ahead of me. Band is my family.
that's more of the reason for you to enjoy and to make memories with your band! It's truly a home away from home. Better hear from you on your senior year and tell me all about it! haha
@thedrivas_ I'll definitely remember to update you! Lol, so far it's been so great it's the best feeling when we finish fundamentals at 11:30 and me and all my friends walk to lunch. It's such a fun bonding experience, and also we're going to BOA this year!! It's so awesome, I'm so glad to be apart of something so amazing :)

I play clarinet. It’s a wooden clarinet though so I’ll probably have to do something about that.I just moved states so I don’t have my eighth grade friends with me but I’m sure I’ll make friends during band camp!

I need to know more about these rookie hats
ofc! So for band camp the freshman or new marchers will get hats made by their section leaders. They can be anything! Different themes and stuff like that BUT you cannot take the hat off no matter what the whole time you're at camp (to show discipline bc if you can't wear a hat... idk lol). The last day of band camp the rookies are put through this "initiation" and at the end they get to take off their hats because they are officially part of the band
