Wish u had more detail which way did u put pin back did u knock it back in from tire out? I'm going to remove caliper and clean so need some advice

Thanks for your comment. I was really pleased to find someone that agrees with me ! I think leaving a bike allows all the oil to drop out of the engine. I also worry that after the winter the bike will not start, leading to expense. Filling the tank is also a good idea. I also wonder whether not starting bikes is a myth put around by mechanics who want work! Thanks again for your comment.

At 16K miles it won't hurt to change the plugs yourself...and while you're at it, check the valve clearances too

If it fails tap the hole out and put a threaded stud in it and fits a rubber cap on it.

Went to the Woods at about 1.30 - no bikes there so did a ride through and went home.
