Ah yeah I did say that in the description as well. I have a whole bunch of weird hacks in my folder and no idea where they come from, so any additional info is always appreciated! This game was really fun, esp with the weird "staff flick" mechanic. I'd revisit it :D

I think I'll skip the Game Boy version for now, that's all the Aristotle I can handle lol.

Yeah this game is pretty sick, I didn't think anyone else even knew what it was lol. Apparently, in the SNES version there are some levels that support 3D glasses. They knew as kids we all had a spare pair around the house lol

Hah yeah this game looks and sounds pretty dope. The screen does look a little cluttered at times, but I can get past that for the blistering pew pew action. :D

Yeah I think if you can get past the main character's extremely short weapon this one is enjoyable. I'm def gonna return to it one day lol. Helps to read the manual too.

Oh yeah. Honestly, if I'd have seen this on the Neo Geo or in an Arcade cab I wouldn't be surprised. Really pretty and fun game!

Ah, so fowl applies lol. Yeah it's hard to avoid damage, especially with such a short main weapon. My sword almost felt like a punch because of its range. I'd play more of this though, it's piqued my interest *just* enough to try and get good at it lol.

@@ThatPunkYT Fowl does not apply to the eagle though, as it's not generally domesticated and used for food, I think.

Hah, nah you're not late. Glad you enjoyed! I didn't realize that there actually IS a SNES version of this, so it existing on Gen is slightly less astounding. Either way I got to enjoy a nice game breaking glitch soooo :D

Oh I didn't know you could whack ghosts with your sword! Sounds like a tactic of stun+hit I've seen in so many games but can't remember at the moment lol. Good to know about the compass tipping off where cheap deaths lie as well! This was really fun an charming! It's amazing STILL what games are hidden out there, just waiting for a light to be shone upon them. Thanks for the tip on this! I greatly enjoyed it! :)

@@darktetsuya Yeah it's a shame cuz this version plays well! You can get a Japanese Wii ROM and play it in Dolphin super easily. Unlocking the boss is easier in this too since it doesn't require using MAME cheats! 😁

@@gemubaka The only Squirrel King I know is Mr. Nutz on Genesis lol. Just looked it up though and DAMN, I see the similarities. I'll def play it at some point in this series too! 🐿️👑
