Nel suono di Lorenzo Iosco si ritrova tutta l'intensità e la malinconia di questa struggente suite; ma il vero intento di questo straordinario musicista non è quello di imitare pedissequamente il suono del cello, ma di interpretare con le qualità tecnico-espressive sue e dello strumento che egli possiede totalmente dal punto di vista tecnico, una musica che, come sappiamo Bach aveva scritto si per determinati strumenti, ma riteneva potesse essere interpretata anche da strumenti diversi...a patto di saper restituire l'intensità timbrica dello strumento principale per il quale era stato scritto Lorenzo ce la restituisce in pieno con qualcosa di personale

Too rushed to respect the music. The indication "pas trop vite" of the 2nd mvt is ignored for the technical show. The accelerando of the first mvt indicated as "peu à peu" are also ignored. This is a robot's performance, not music.
