Ah, a fellow connoisseur of The Dakka, I see. I love using "Peace Through Superior Firepower" builds. I personally go for All Missiles All The Time, where I can constantly rain Explosive Benediction upon the battlefield. Not always viable, though, so my next choice is as much lead as I can put downrange.

this mod really puts into perspective how insanely overpowered a group of 4-5 ACs would be on one mission. with the right synergy (and good enough pilots) literally any boss/mission would become an absolute cakewalk.

The left hand rifle isn't free, you have to buy that from the store. One of the biggest downsides of a No Shop Purchases run is that there really aren't any good left hand ranged options.

I usually end up using a light weight double melee with assault armor but this is way easier and less risky

I bet this took some trial and error. I beat it with Steel Haze and Ortus, but I am impatient and played aggressively. It was there that I learned why people prefer SH to Ortus; and why the best part about Ortus is the Laser Slicer... which SH already has.

Your vids have inspired some fun replays of the campaign missions from me! Mainly the idea that 621 is the mecha anime archetype of the pilot that comes out on top despite using outdated/not top of the line stuff. Taking the Loader 4 frame and stuffing whatever internals and weapons I can on its limited load space makes for some fun roleplay builds
