Trains on the CSX Philly Sub in Aberdeen!
Hey y'all! I've been venturing out to Aberdeen station a lot more recently to see CSX. In this video, we go over my catches from the last three weeks there. We see the legendary Tropicana Juice Train, and we also see some freshly rebuilt CSX CM44ACs and an SD70AC along the way. Enjoy the video and please do like and subscribe if you did!

Chasing the Conway Scenic Railroad!

This year's summer, I ventured up to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. While in the area, I went to many iconic places, such as Bellows Falls, White River Junction, Winnipesaukee, and Conway. Here is my compilation of videos from my visit to the Conway Scenic Railroad. In this video, we'll see Conway Scenic 252 running trains today, as well as Conway Scenic 255 switching cars in North Conway. ...

It's about time I did a proper video introducing my 2001. This siren came from Noblesville, Indiana, where it was replaced by a 2001-130. It was manufactured in 1989, and is the 163rd 2001 produced. Currently, it is under restoration at my home in Maryland. This video is it being tested at WSS where I acquired it. The siren had stiff brushes (makes sense, it was sitting for 2 years), and Mike a...

No idea what happened here. Wasn't a noon blast, since it was 12:32. There was no one at the station, and we waited for a solid 5-10 minutes and no one came, so it wasn't a call. Anyway, this siren is a 5V. The tag says "5V" on it.
Action in Perryville Including a Metroliner Cab
มุมมอง 3095 หลายเดือนก่อน
Went to Perryville today to catch 121. Turns out I had just missed an NS coal train! Met some cool people there and saw a Metroliner cab which is pretty rare past Philly on the NEC. Trains 121 and 122 run with Metroliner cab cars from extra Keystone sets Amtrak has in Sunnyside. They run once a week on Sundays.

I'll never get tired of that whistle. This video is about the Reading & Northern T-1 Northern #2102. This excursion set was named after the famous Iron Horse Rambles that the Reading Railroad Company did in the 60's and 70's. This excursion was from Reading Outer Station (OS) to Jim Thorpe (JT) along the RBMN main line. We will go through many small towns such as Hamburg, Tamaqua, and Nesquehon...

Went to this Fedelcode-era Type 7. Pretty damn punchy for a 7. There was a weatherproof champion nearby this one, but it has been removed somewhat recently. This was the acceptance test of my new camera. My AX43 has a motherboard issue which will make it nonfunctional soon. I will continue to use it until it is no longer useable. It sounds so good 5:39
Two GEVO’s with K5LA’s!
Uh that a 2001 dc
That wind up sounds a little like a thunderbolt, I like it!
Why did this suddenly get popular out of nowhere?
Its missing the sen so now its a try 5v
When did they acquire the Ohio Central cars?
Can't give you a concise answer for that. I'm a Maryland resident so I don't frequent the place.
@@positionlightproductions6187be nice if those cars went on the notch train. The valley and Conway trains could use the CNJ and Lackawanna cars
In sylacauga, Alabama the tornado siren went off
What kind of siren do you have?
Very nice!
I like how it sound❤it sounds good❤
It's a pretty popular siren in Adams County because of that. It's nickname is "The Lemon."
What’s the horn at 0:23?
ADT Model 835, the one on screen the whole video
It sounds like a siren with choppers
The Hula-Hor?
@@positionlightproductions6187I ment choppers
Are sentry and sterling the same company's
No, Sentry was created when the Yarberry's purchased the siren manufacturing division of Sterling. For a time, they kept the Sterling name, and I believe this unit could be a Sterling-era unit. You can ask my friend Sipex about this, he knows a lot.
@positionlightproductions6187 ah ok thanks
Hella late but the EOWS was an original install, no Thunderbolt stood there before.
stable camera 100
yeah, this is the camera they use to film school fights
Swapped rotors?
Actually maybe. I denounced the possibility last time, but now that I've heard one that was confirmed to have swapped rotors, it could be possible.
It still has 3 cells. Right?
It has three cells. Right?
Yes, the "3" in 2803 dictates that. Example: WPS-2905 = 5 cells/drivers.
Very fast windup 0:47
Just so you're aware if you weren't already, there's no such thing as a Sterling M-10. Sterling only ever called these sirens the "Model M".
This is an old video. I am aware of the misnomer.
10/12 port siren
Its a 500at wanna because that one 500 fell
Think this one was deliberately removed. Don't know where the motor assembly is though...
That chopper sounds painful
its the belt slipping. and also, this siren's existence in this condition brings me great pain every day lol. i really need to restore it
@@positionlightproductions6187 Housing looks good
10V
5V
not 5v is 10v
Please refer to the post in my community tab.
Hey, 12/16 Sterling update, if you didn't see. The 12/16 Sterling is located at Bellevue PA, you can find where it's located on the Sterling siren map
Sonic if he was a siren:
That’s a DC8. Not an SRN.
As far as I can tell it's sitting in my garage and as far as I can tell the tag says "2001-SRN."
Such a cool color!
Thank you!
Ultra rate 16 port Sentry 10V
It's actually a 5V with 10V horns. Still super rare though, might be the only 5V with 10V horns
That’s a 10V
No it isn't. Please refer to my community tab for more details.
So it’s a 5V with the Housing of a 10V.
@@JamesSpeed65 Yeah, I assume they ordered it with horns because they didn't want to set up three phase for a 10hp siren.
I used to have a German shepherd named Harley and he really does not like tornado sirens we had a 2001 right down the street from are house and we had a warning one night man I fell bad for him
Josie howls with it because she thinks its another dog
i live in york haven
Cool, have you heard the Model 5 at the fire department go off at all?
@@positionlightproductions6187 yea
Nice to see that Clyde Ohio's "Carter" 3T22 has a sibling!
hi
hi Georgia person
How much is a 2001? I was looking around but from what I hear a new one from FS is nearly 10k!
A used 2001-SRN from West Shore is $500. That's where I got mine.
@@positionlightproductions6187 dang I might have to get one
@@positionlightproductions6187 how much work are they to get running and working like a city system?
@@KansasavationYou will probably have to get new brushes because some of those sirens have been sitting in that yard for over 2 years at this point. WSS did a brush swap for me for free, but idk if they have any more spares lying around because the brushes for the 2001SRN aren't made anymore. Other than that they probably won't require that much work
Best 2001.
Oh yeah nice paint color love the roundbacks
whould this perchance be the same 2001 I saw you painting on facebook?
Yep!
GET THIS MAN AN FC 💪 The paint looks great! Thought i wonder how it would also look if the 2001:DC label background matched the paint
I oddly love the paint
fuck yeah. now THATS a 2001 right there!! I love the turquoise paint job there!
That paint job is nice!
This is awesome!!!!!!! Do you know what the hiccup was on the wind up?
Either the brushes setting or the batteries struggling to provide power.
@positionlightproductions6187 My bet is on the brushes. When we sanded them, they were somewhat rounded and still imperfect. So likely wearing in would be my guess -Brendan
@@sirensandstuff5780Thanks Brendan! I'll be sure to test the 2001 for longer next first Sunday.
Very Nice
