Watch in the clips as Lugar moves the bow. See how the bells ring and how dynamic the pressure of the bow is on the string. The movement is sometimes straight, sometimes undulating and sometimes jerky. Watch your fingers move on the string. Sometimes they are just discarded. Sometimes they slide into the next note on the string, sometimes the pressure increases or decreases as you play. A tremolo effect can be achieved by shaking your fingers on the string. Occasionally the entire instrument is shaken so that the bow begins to bounce on the string.
