Back again from summer break from editing and posting, but I kept working on the car and filming. trans plate install, new wheels, and what's the difference between buyee and croooober

So I took a summer break from editing and posting, but I kept working on the car and filming, although not as much. So anyways...wiring, wheels, tires, and cooling system are on the agenda.

Yes
Nice car good video. I am interested in theses cars
they are great cars, but have become too expensive.
@ I was into the fox mustang coupe. I have had five. They are also to expensive
Full respect of your videos bro😄. It also gives me a helpful reminder for you to encourage you to do more updating videos about automotive and so on. Hope this reminder will help you through your anxiety😁
haha yes keeping busy and having a project really helps keep me focused.
So satisfying seeing the carb getting cleaned.
Great job so far on the coupe! Lots of work to still accomplish on her. Sucks to see how many coolant hoses you've gone through to find something that finally worked. Why didnt you just buy some silicone coolant hoses for specifically the ae86 4age? Plenty of good aftermarket ones available. Ive been running some red HPI ones on my 86 for years and never had any issues since then. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I mostly want to keep the engine bay looking like a clean oem+. Technically all the hoses I bought were specifically listed for my car so I'm not sure why there's variations in the sizes.
Another great vlog, and yeah we have a tendency to be very chassis specific orientated, but in fairness it is quite a unique chassis.... And such a fun car .. In Ireland it gets even more retentive!!! Like with panda lines and if your spec is Japanese or UK .. Great to see your progress, keep em coming...
Yeah there's definitely a major rabbit hole that you can go down. this is my 4th ae86 and I love them too much. at the same time I can't wait to get this one to a good place so I can dabble in other projects as well.
Beautiful car and a well done video. The music selection and volume is 👌 perfect
Thanks, I try
Cool video man, bro’s just recording what he likes doing. Hopefully ur project will be completed💪
Thank you
cool channel man...i seen the baller thumbnail and +1'd ....nice coupe <3
yeah it's a bit too clickbait, but I keep making random ai 86 images and figured I'd use them up. thanks for the +1.
What rear bumper is that exactly
it's just the Japanese version of the bumper
Thanks for the video, do you know how to wire the pop-up headlights?
are you converting from a levin to the trueno? there's quite a few little things. different switch and harness.
good stuff. I liked the background music for this.
For sure "in living colour" was a great show... You can also block the breather on rocker cover where the pipe returns to the OEM manifold or send it to oil catch can.... Loving the build so far, and the regular updates ..
thanks, I'll try to keep this pace going. and yeah I'll need to get a catch can,
@@WERKSTATT77 the costs must be fairly steep, I'm from Ireland and 86 bits (even with flos) are getting hard find and very expensive... So although us subs are loving the build rate, don't get swamped in it and end up with an 86 addiction and no money... They go hand in hand hahahaha...
Yeah it’s crazy how much love there is for these cars. I’d love to trade my flip up front for the Irish “levin” front.
Looking great. Love the realistic build. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks, random stranger
How much for the rear bumper lol 😂
too much 😢
Are those headers equal length?
maybe?
The clutch has a tendency to feel light for a bit, i have just replaced mine with an exedy disc and pressure plate, and grips fine but pedals light or lighter that youd expect.. Pity about the filler or bondo you guys call it, but in fairness your shell seems in great shape otherwise., And your getting through the mechanics quickly...
hey thanks, yeah the bondo quarter sucks but I've been wanting to try a complete quarter swap for a long time. hope I can get to it in the next year.
congrats man!
Thanks!
Hey vsauce, michael here.
hey cool! welcome.
Fr tho
continue bro this is good! I like the title card
Thanks, it'll get "done"
Really enjoying this series, making great progress, and as someone that's also building one I have totally simpatico...
haha yup, its a crazy amount of punishment
Replacing those clutch masters are such a pain. Nice work!
@@nunuland69 thanks
When do I get ride?
Digging the rolly stand looks super handy.
yeah I'm a big fan of it.
Glad to see ya back at it, hope summer was fun man. If Buyee or Crooober won't ship something you want, let me know and I can help!
thanks I'll keep that in mind.
Still missing seeing your del sol
Yeah me too, that one ended before it could be appreciated
I like that rat rod seat. Throw some seat covers on them for now so your greasy ass doesn't make them worse!
If anything these seats will make me dirty
Man, I'd love to find something like this .
well it wasn't cheap haha
Nice 👍
All I do is downsize my stuff and it still grows to fill all available space.
I can't have a vehicle making dinging noises from the door or seatbelt open so I bypassed the door switch and then my fog light switch stopped working. I'm retired from vehicle wiring now. I wanted to just cut out the speaker but I couldn't reach it. Nasim - 0 Nissan Atlas - 1
I finally figured it out, it'll be in the final bow episode
Oh ya those little jap tow trucks are nice. Unfortunately it looks like it uses split rims. I shed many tears over getting stuck with those type of rims. Slow car fast is the way to go. Jay Leno just did a short about blowing past a cop in a vintage shitbox only to find out he wasn't speeding. I've taken a couple rides in the electric Commuta car of Simone Giertz "Cheese Louise" fame and you feel like you will die at any speed and it gets more looks than a cybertruck. Very very fun.
Oh I like that! Make sure the metal bits under the dash are silver. It's a nightmare under there even for regular sized humans.
Nothing wrong with a classy little e30
Maybe The Door Switch Is Whats Shorting Out, Since it Stops the Window When Pushed in. Your Del Sol Series Was Awesome, I Came Across it the Day I Bought My Son's 1993 Del Sol, And I Learned A lot About This Honda From Watching Your Series.
Yeah for some reason the power window relay coil is grounded through the door switch, somewhere along its history the wiring got mixed up
Where did you pick up the plastic bits and valance for the front?
they all came from FCP Euro
Good fixin'. Nice ending!
Love Them Wheels.
Can anyone tell me, what are this rims?
M.technica 16x8
Is the front bumper from garagistic? If so, did you paint it?
no this is the oem one from Japan, on the 320i it just came all black, but this one has been painted with sem trim black to deal with the fade
What Will happen to the car?
Still for sale, but I’m not setup for such a large restoration
not everything needs to made out of metal.
I'm Still Here.
You gotta do the little things
so much little stuff
What is your location, if US, where did you get those euro fenders? I need some.
the whole car is actually from Japan, which is almost identical to the euro specs..
Those Are Some Cool Wheels.
Nice BMW, To Bad Its Not Right Hand Drive.
This Was A great Series, I Have learned A lot just From These Videos, The Dash Removal Is Good To Know.
Are You The 1 Making The 3D Printed Parts?
Unfortunately no, but I think the link is in the video for the guy that does
I Have been Binge Watching This Serious, Pretty Good So Far. I Always Thought You Had To Lift The Body Up To Get The Motor out From Underneath. I Just Bought A 93 Del Sol For my Son And We Have been Working On It.
Happy to hear you’re enjoying it
