Love the dress but the instructions aren't very clear. Do I do 3 DC in every space and how many do I chain in-between?
Yes, you do 3 dc in every space and no chain in between. Some prefer to ch 1 in between so that’s completely up to you! Hope this helps! ❤️
I got a rectangle could you tell me what I did wrong please ?
You might have gone too many rows or made the square a bit too loose. I think a rectangle would look rather cool though! 😃👏🏼 x hope it’s going well
What if I have a SMALL bust,do I still need to add increase stitches.
I would suggest maybe one or two rows of increases so it appears that the bust comes out a bit but fit it on as you go and then you can get the perfect sizing for you 😊 x
I’m doing something wrong. I end up having 1-2 petals more than I should. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?
I’m sorry to hear that! You might have one too many stitches on the previous row. Remember some chains don’t count as stitches. I really hope this helps! ❤️ good luck and let me know xx
Do you have a written pattern with stitch counts
@Vissable I haven’t written one for this pattern yet but that’s a wonderful idea.. I’ll write one. I hope your petals are working out! 🌸
@@forestfeatherfashion still having issues that’s why I was hoping for a written pattern. But I’m not giving up! I’m determined
i love it, im addicted na
🥰👏🏼❤️ make as many as you can!
This is the best birthday hat tutorials I’ve found. The shape is perfect. Thank you!!
🥰👏🏼🤗 your comment has made my day! Thank you so much. I’m sure whoever you’ve made one for looks amazing 😻 x
This is beautiful, and my granddaughter will love it! I do find the music distracting though. Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much for your comment, I’ll change up the music a bit in my next one. Hope she loves her flower crown! X ❤️
Amazing ! Thank you for this. Hopefully will get the courage to try and start this soon !!
You can do it! 😃 I believe in you x start by making a granny square and see where it takes you. Enjoy ❤️
I might wanna do this in a solid granny stitch, i guess that's possible aswell?
Of course 😊 you can make any 2 types of granny squares to join for the dress. I’m sure it’s going to look beautiful! Xx
Can you glue the flowers on the vine instead of weaving?
Of course you can 😊 might just need to use a strong glue but that would work wonderfully!
What size person does this actually fit the average top size?
With the yarn weight and hook size I used, it is actually a little too big for me so I’d say this top is a 40 in size, like a medium or so. It’s best to take measurements and then divide it by 4 to know how big your squares need to be to fit 😊❤️ you can up a hook size or create more borders around the edge of the squares to make them larger! 🌸
Thanks a lot ❤
😃 it’s such a pleasure x thanks for watching!
Muito obrigada pela partilha.
🥰 it’s such a pleasure! Thank you for your comment x
Вы делаете очень красивые вещи! 🤍 И Спасибо за возможность автоперевода в видео, мне все понятно
Thank you so much for your amazing comment 🥰 I am glad that you understand everything, I will continue to make my videos accessible to all x
❤❤❤love love love this makes me feel like gardening!! You look so happy xxxx
🥰👏🏼 it’s definitely making me happy to have a garden to tend to! ❤️
I love this top, I want a make it for my niece she is 4 years old I hope you can help me with the size, please
You will need to use a very light weight yarn, like a cotton thread type yarn to make the squares a lot smaller 😊 you can also use a different type of granny square that doesn’t need as many rounds so you can keep them rather small. I’m sure you will make a wonderful top for your niece! 🥰👏🏼
This dress is so beautiful you are so talented!! I am wondering, is it heavy??
You are so kind! Thank you Soo much for saying that x it does have a little weight to it yes, but with thicker straps it holds nicely and it feels lovely around the legs. ❤️
Absolutely stunning and gorgeous & no words to describe! Reminds me of all the insane amounts of beautiful bluebells in the UK🇬🇧 ❤ thank you for such a stunning visual treat ❤ piece of art that hat is and this whole video as it is 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼❤️❤️❤️
😍🤩 you’ve made my heart very happy!! Thank you for saying this, I truly appreciate it so much. It’s crazy that the bluebells are only around for a short while every year.. I’m already excited for next year 😂 sending love! 🥰❤️👏🏼
@@forestfeatherfashionyour flower crown tutorial we followed not just for flower crowns but also for wrapping a special birthday present for a little girl 🎁 we had been given lots of scraps of yarn from the local library where it is possible to swap craft items & supplies and even garden produce and plants! We live in a tiny but epic community! And that yarn we used to create flowery ribbons following your instructions to decorate a big box! It looked so epic! My daughter was helping me, she loves to crochet and now she said we should never ever buy any ribbons or tapes for gift wrapping but always do this because it looked magical ❤ thank you for sharing your gifts so generously ❤ truly appreciated ❤
I want to make this dress for my girlfriend. She's quite shy and wouldn't wear the dress if she feels too exposed. How do you feel about the holes in the granny square ? Are you wearing an other layer under or your underwear dirrectly ?
I totally understand how she feels, this is why I usually wear a bikini underneath my dress. Or you can actually sew some material on the inside of the dress too. I will make a video on how to do this soon 😊 You could also make a simple boob-tube type dress in a similar colour to wear underneath it. I hope this helps and that you enjoy making this for your girlfriend! 😍🫶🏼
@@forestfeatherfashion Thank you so much. Now I need to pick a color palette she would like ^^
Sounds so fun! 🤩 have the best time and feel free to send me a pic on Instagram when you are done x
How many rows please
The number of rows depends on how big your cushion is 😊 it’s best to do a fitting every now and then when making. Crochet stretches a bit so make sure it’s slightly too small rather than too big. Hope this helps! ❤️
Muy hermoso 😍, me gustó mucho.
Thank you so much! I will be adding subtitles to this video to make it easier to watch for everyone ☺️👏🏼❤️
Can’t wait to get a pair!
Wow, I love these!!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy making them as much I did! 🌸
Hi are you using worsted weight for yarn? Or smaller?
I’m using a lighter weight cotton and some yarn blends for the flowers but you can use worsted to add some texture and dimension! You can play around with the different weights and types of flowers to find what you like the most 😊🌸 hope this helps!
I absolutely adore this pattern! Would it make a difference to use cotton yarn vs acrylic?
It would actually be better for your hair to use cotton yarn! 😄 I just used different types of scraps I had around for the flowers ❤️ thank you for your lovely comment x
Ok I know this is a weird question but I just learned how to crochet and I can’t figure it out HOW DO I END THE VINE SO IT DOESNT ALL COME UNDONE😭😭
No stress! Chain 1, cut your yarn and then pull the yarn tail through the chain 1 to make a knot ❤️ pull it nice and tightly so it won’t come undone. Hope this helps! Let me know xx
Magical 🙏🏾 thank you for sharing your gift so generously ❤ my daughter has her 9th birthday coming up, we crochet lots together and to all her friends who come to her forest birthday party we give wooden slingshots and crochet gifts. We will make a few of these to give to the girls ❤ thank you so much for such a fantastic tutorial ❤
This is such an amazing comment… you and your daughter have absolutely made my day! 🥰 thinking about all the girls running around with crochet flowers in their hair makes me so happy haha Have the best time crocheting and happy birthday to your daughter. Much love, Candice x
Omg yes yes yes a tutorial please!!!!!
😄👏🏼 I’ll have to go and buy some yarn! Stay tuned x
Wow, gorgeous!! Please do make a tutorial, this would be such a lovely gift for someone. 😃
Ah thank you for your comment!! I might just make a tutorial then ☺️👏🏼 stay tuned x
Una pregunta cuánto mide la blusa soy isis Patricia saludos desde santa Marta Colombia
Hi Patricia! Greetings from Singapore, thank you for your comment 😊 This blouse can be made longer by adding more rounds onto the granny square. From the neck down to the end (corner to corner), mine is about 18inches long. Hope this helps! 🌸
LOVELY! Thank you!❤
Aw! 🥰 it’s such a pleasure. Thank you so much for your comment!
Brilliant idea re: making it removeable! Thank you x
Aw thank you so much! So much easier to wash it this way ☺️❤️ glad you like it x
It looks really good but it is very small for me :/ So for someone with medium size especially if you have bigger boobs this top probably won’t fit you.
You can always add another few rounds around the end of each granny squares to make them larger or use a heavier weight yarn! You can also use a mesh style chain go join each square to add more space between them, this will make the top bigger ❤️ hope this helps! :)
@@forestfeatherfashion I have alteady sewed it together :/ But Thank you, I will come up with something or give it to someone ❤️
I see!! Well… Christmas is coming up and I’m sure there is a lucky lady in your friendship group who would appreciate it as a gift. Please try it again and add a few more rows of a simple double crochet around each square to make it a bit larger for you 😊 Thank you for your comment though, I aim to make my videos (and patterns) better for everyone. Much appreciated and much love x
@@forestfeatherfashion No problem and if it won’t fit me I can give it to my friend ❤️ The pattern is lovely ❤️ Much love from Sweden🥰
Turning the square into a diamond shape and measuring across should give you 1/4 of your complete bust measurement
Gorgeous thanks
😄👏🏼 glad you like it!! 🌻
how do you make the leaves going left and right?
You can start placing the leaves into the left loop of the chain then the right side and even in the back loop of the chain… this way it twists slightly 🌻 I hope this helps!
Que maravilloso, eres una artista 😍 un abrazo fuerte desde España
Very different! So cute 🥰
😍 thank you so much!
@@forestfeatherfashion are you going to be doing more crochet projects in the future?

This is so beautiful my friend 🤍🌸 🧚♀️
Thank you so much!! 🥰❤️ I am so happy you like it x
Cinnamon sticks for the stems--what a great idea!
Thank you so much! It also adds a cinnamon smell to the room 😌👏🏼
Yes, there is a leaf stuck to my butt 😅
This is my preferred way of joining granny squares! But I'm watching the video because it's beautiful and calming ♡ Keep up the amazing work! ♡Amber
That is so kind of you to say Amber 😊 thank you! ❤️
What size yard and hook did you use?
Hi! I used a milk cotton yarn, it’s a medium weight yarn with a 4mm crochet hook 😊🌸
Absolutely amazing loved every moment of it well done Candice! Cannot wait for the next one!
I’m so happy you enjoyed it! I’m excited to begin the next one. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
@@forestfeatherfashion 🥰
Wow. Thank you so much for this. Your voice is so peaceful, this video itself felt like a meditation... I feel that more people need to hear this, as I think so many of us struggle to remember these things! I look forward to your next video. And I would love to see more about Singapore! ⚘️
Thank you so much for your lovely comment 🥰 I can’t wait to post my next one. I shall be sure to include some more content about Singapore and it’s beauty!
Very nice ! What is the size of each square, please ?
Hi! They are 4.5 inches wide. I did use a medium weight yarn and a bigger crochet hook, you can of course use a light weight yarn with a smaller hook to get a smaller square 😊
Love this and want to make it, but how much yarn please.
Wonderful! 😃 I used about 4 skeins of medium weight yarn, 200g each. So in total about 800g of yarn. Maybe get 5 skeins so that you have enough for the tassels at the end ❤️ can’t wait to hear about your progress!
