Citroen C4 Picasso Rear Brake Pad Replacement
มุมมอง 6K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Adding new rear brake pads DB2044RCT Repco brand. At the end just pump the brake a few times until it feels hard, then engage and disengage the electronic handbrake twice and use OBD2 computer to reset the codes when it freaks out about the pads being different thickness suddenly.

Esse câmbio é manual ou automático?
Boa ideia parabéns 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🇧🇷
On 6:40 I stop see ...😂

Great video and well done Lachie. The varnish adds character to the car!
Ur suposed to disconnect the battery
Right you are, I just looked it up and yes you are meant to disconnect the battery so the electronic parking brake doesn't accidentally re-engage. Good pickup, I never knew that.
What a load of shite. Hear it leaking over that racket! Repair it properly or buy a new exhaust for God's sake. Waste of time and money.
Or Just fix the cracked exhaust manifold, instead of just gloping on layer after layer of paste........
Good idea!
الله يساعدك مطرت عليك.. ان شاء الله منشورك يصعد..
Jolly good show! Really makes you appreciate electric starters and modern fuel injection systems, doesn’t it?
Update: if you've got similar thing as our car, which is 1.6 robot automatic (semi automatic) leaking transmission fluid you can find a black cap under the airbox to fill it up. But it wont look the same as in this video
Gotta love working in the rain!
A big job but a good outcome! Well done guys!
... what about safety shoes?
#straya
Love the blend of classic car appeal with modern technology efficiency :)
That's it? Yooo thanks so much I'm gonna try this!
Too bad you just top up and not replaced the entire fluid
Yeah, if I had more time I would - will do it next major service.
@LukeSchiralli When you do it, too error codes will appear, and the gearbox will be blocked. I really don't know what to do about it, and when I replace the clutch, I will change the fluid. Until then, I can not replace the gearbox fluid
@@atom7749-ro I've not encountered that yet, but will keep it in mind.
Sorry but what a pants video - how do you thread the belt through the seat, where does it go, did you drill the holes or were they already there (did Rover know about this in advance so they put the holes there), did you use load spreader plates on the underside of the floor pan - you should have - otherwise the nut (not bolt) could pull through the floor when under load? I didnt learn anything from this video and its got me all upset.
Previous owner had put holes in front already, belts were missing. Rear had no holes, I used high tensile drill bits of the metal bit kind. Underside of all bolts have a load spreading plate a few inches wide so it cannot pull through.
Great video! Your original starter looks like the same one in my Armstrong Siddeley!
What year is these an is gearbox reliable what brand is gearbox please
It's a 2007 model. Gearbox is Aisin brand from Japan and used in many cars like Audi, Volvo etc. Very reliable, only heard of a cheap solenoid part needing replacing in 200000km.
you forgot about = disconnect the battery !
Bmp6 gearbox ???
Great work guys! Hard work and determination won out in the end!
WELL DONE Lachie and Lukey!! Good outcome.
Thanks!
Always a challenge restoring vintage cars but I’m sure you will conquer it! Great to see you guys back on utube!
Is it ok to top up through the breather?
Sure!
Nice video 😊
Thanks 😊
Great 😊😊😊
Thanks 😊
But this Fluid is for Citroën C4 Grand Picasso 2008 1.6 HDi ?
I'm not sure, depends if the gearbox is the same type with the 6 speed auto from the same company. There were a few different gearbox types available.
NOOOOOOO ! 2008 is a semi-automatic and takes a totally different hydraulic fluid. be very careful !
Where is the fully video of this? Please..
Head to my channel :-)
Love it!!!
Great to see your latest Utube guys!
Great video! keep it up..
Thank you!
Another informative video and great camera work ❤
The boys are back!! Those French computers… 😂
As an owner of a 1960 100 in 2 tone green I enjoyed watching you video. Envious of your carpets, mine are originals but more faded and moth eaten. Love driving mine, even though on radials the steering is heavy until you get rolling. Thanks for posting
They are lovely cars. I really enjoy ours.
Great video! Such a common problem and your video will help other car enthusiasts to perform their renovations. Well done!
Well done Lachie and Lukey...Came out great.... Nice work
Thank you 🙏🏻
The extra coat of paint looks terrific!
Those damn funky solenoids! Sounds like a different deeper mic this time (AirPods)? Good audio!
Used a newer iPhone on a tripod :)
Well done, another problem solved but missing your assistant / video producer.
