God!!! Did I want that soooo bad in 1972 to 86....always too poor. I only got Dr. Steel which brought tears to my eyes...I knew what it cost my single mom but...She did it. I ruined it in the tub....I cried. My one and only Alpha Male that was never ever picked on in elementary school.. wow thanks for the flashback!!!!

MacGyver would be proud. Whatever works. As a kid we had crude hospital boxes full of first aid and medical supplys. Like Super glue, Epoxy, string, rubber bands, tape and even a needle and thread for when the buttons come off or a seam opens up. To model outfits this is a great use of Franken Jim parts.

Really cool collection. For the 50th anniversary and Covid shutdown I hunted down the primary 4 guys and some accesorys. Plus a Grizzly Adams. I and my friends had piles of this stuff as kids. They just don't have anything like this nowadays. Everything is all guns swords and muscle ripped steroid mutants. LOL😂

Super cool, now you need Big Jim Baseball or the catcher variant. I love the yellow kung foo outfit to. It emphasizes Jim's primary chop functions. I always wondered why every thing is number 6. Repares would be fun. I got an otherwise perfect Jeff but the white hip ball came off to my horror. That finished them off as a kid but now I had the technology. I had the abilities... (Que Steve Austin music)... I drilled a tiny hole crossways behind his Akhemm! Balls. Then with an expensive 2 part plastic formula super glue I set the ball to dry. Then with super strong ballistic nylon thread I looped around the balls splits dozens of times. Tieing off a knot every 3-4 loops. And finishing with a rock hard hip joint with full mobility and invisible unless you pull off the leg.... Where there's a will there's a way. I'm proud of this fix cause any fix was unlikely. And a functional and strong fix is inconceivable. I love your guys.

50 years old and still cool. Like me... 😂I kid... The whole family reunion. Even Grizzly Adams (Dan Hagerty) is there. I bought one of those last winter and was stunned to see it was essentially a Big Jim, minus the bulging biceps. I rounded up a good Jim, Josh, Jack & Jeff for nostalgia sake. I had a friend who had most of the wolf pack line.

I was an Adventure Team guy, Big Jim always reminded me of the Village People...

I also use plastic wrap on arms and legs to prevent discoloration from clothes.

I remember the Wolf Pack Black 4x4 with a winch and off road stuff. I used it for my Mego superhero figures. Big Jim was an amazing line.

Yours is in super good shape. The only thing i hate on all jims is the discoloration of the arms, pisses me off. Great review

Cool collection of figures!

I and my friend had piles of Big Jim stuff. The coolest toys ever. The arms were crazy hard to flex to pop his muscle up. And that chop button on his back. The accessories were the best. Wolfpack laser Vette & wolf cycle. Pickup camper. GMC motorhome. Command Jet. So so much stuff. I loved seeing your collection. And hearing its there 50th anniversary. Cheers!🍻🐺

for a moment, I thought mattel was re releasing a big jim figure... too bad, I d buy at least one. I had one you don t have, he had a beard and long hair. he was some kind of cowboy type of guy. mattel was so stupid to make him shorter than gi joe and barbie... and those useless hands... all he could do is slapping! kung fu grip was way better for doing just about anything.

I remember Big Jim and I had many of the figures that you showed on your video and they brought back many wonderful memories of my childhood! :)

FYI, the Lone Ranger outfit and horse Silver are from the Gabriel-Hubley line of Western toys, rather than being made by Mattel. As you can see from my avatar pic, I'm a fan and collector! But I used to have a ton of Big Jim figures, too. Thanks for a look at your awesome collection!!
