depending on your software you can change the pitch and/or yaw to tilt the overlay image to fit the angle of the bricks better
very cool animation
Hello! I just started making stop motions and was wondering if you could give me any tips
Some tips I would have are: -Don’t worry about going to over the top at the beginning. It is best to start simple with a slower frame rate, then work your way up to more complicated things with a higher frame rate. -When animating, make sure everything is secure so it doesn’t move mid-shot. You can do this with sticky tack. -Don’t let there be any natural light when animating, because it won’t look great in the animation. (It will flicker and not be constant) -Lastly, stick with it! It may get difficult, but it is certainly worth it at the end! Anyways, glad I could help! Have a great day!
Great work! :D Just subbed to your channel! Also how are you? Where did you get your minifigures from and what will you do for your next one?
I’m doing good, thanks for asking! I got all these minifigs from Lego sets over the years. (Vader from the Imperial shuttle, and some stormtroopers from the 20th anniversary drop ship) The rebels are all mixes of random figures, though many of them are from sets with rebels. My next stop motion will probably be out in 3-6 months depending on how long it takes to film/how long I make it. It will be about some rebels hitting an Imperial laboratory manufacturing a secret weapon…
lowkey not that bad

Nice video bro!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
thats awsome man
Why does the clone trooper look fake? 🤨
The helmet is slightly miss-printed, so it makes it look kinda fake.
I got that one !!!
And yet they are still making billions
This is nice, I love how the agent is complaining about an umbrella 😂
You’re great at what you do! I make sm animations to but mine are not nearly as good as yours Keep doing what you’re doing 😊
Thanks! You certainly should also keep on animating, I would love to see where you end up in a few years!!!
LETS GO! Glad ur back
Glad to have you back Darksaber!
Incredible +1 sub
Glad you liked it!
Hello everyone! What do you guys think about the spy theme? It certainly is a lot different than my standard Star Wars stop motions. Personally I think it turned out well, especially considering how it was made in only a few days! Stats: This stop motion contains 2,195 pictures, at 16 fps. It was actually filmed over the course of 3 days for a film challenge!
@@DarksaberProductionsOfficial master piece
Loved the spy theme. One tweak think could be used for a cooler effect is dramatic effect, where a pose is shown for longer to emphasize it. Otherwise, great stopmotion!
Thanks for the feedback!

New stop motion dropping soon!
This is from an interview where an actor who is in Acolyte said that Anakin blew up the Death Star. Crazy that someone who acted in Star Wars doesn’t even know what he is talking about.
Luke destroyed the Death Star not Anakin
(This is from an interview where an actor who is in the new show Acolyte said that Anakin blew up the Death Star)
@@DarksaberProductionsOfficial I didn’t know that, but makes it funnier lol
@@HumanHuman-vi6kcya bro the actors from acolyte have never seen star wars
Are you still here?
Yep I just haven’t been posting because I haven’t been very motivated and I have been busy.

Good hard work pays off😆👍
😍
The cannon build shown in the first shot is pretty neat👍
Hey bro got any tips for a noobie animator for me? And also what do you use for editing and sounds?
Sorry that I didn’t see this 9 months ago, but my biggest tip would be just to stick with it! Stop motion is very time consuming and tedious, but it is great to see the fruits of your labor! Also, don’t worry about doing high frame rates and fancy stuff when you are beginning, you can add those things in as you get better at animating. For editing, I have been using CapCut, and for sound effects, I just get them from youtube and place them where they are needed. (Using the extract audio feature)
@ yea here recently i haven’t been posting cause of school invading my life lol, but I’ve gotten better and I’m happy about it. I’m trying to be more like you bro
Are you still here?
Yes, I am still here, actually planning to post a video today! (About the new clone battle pack) It is my goal to start posting again this year!

So true FR FR
Damn, you did so well with the sniper effects, and I love that little rangefinder effect. Also, great job with the light saber deflections. This was a great Stop Motion. I hope you get bigger.👍👍👍👍
That's an interesting looking fig, what brand is it?
To be honest I have no idea, I have had it for a while.
Can I get a tutorial
Yo that’s awesome, what software you use?
Thanks! I use Stop Motion Studio Pro for my brickfilms. I believe its now $6 on the App Store.
@@DarksaberProductionsOfficial wow, so do I! What about sound?
@@BackflipBrickfilms I have been screen recording the sound effects off youtube then later removing audio and placing it in the right spot. I wouldn’t recommend doing it that way, but it works for what I do.
@@DarksaberProductionsOfficial there’s some good TH-cam to mp3 sites out there, I can link one if you don’t find. And what software do you use to place the audio; clipchamp, etc?

it's ok for 8fps.🙃
