Yeah I agree but the part I find it lame about that Asriel questioning why they not in the shuttle and back at the citadel, Asriel should've realise Asgore is actually tricking them and do something about it.

I think comparing PS!Outertale's gen ending to Undertale Yellow's gen ending is fair for the argument I'm about to make, considering they're both fangames that are basically near the same scale/quality as Undertale. Undertale Yellow's ending is satisfying and interesting because it actually leaves you with a lot to think about after you're done. Did Clover really do the right thing? What will happen when Frisk eventually falls? We know they probably won't be able to escape because Flowey + the human/boss monster souls are gone. What will Clover's life be like after this? How is this ending going to affect how monsters see humans and will future humans be in even more danger because of this? Asgore talks about how Clover's actions have perpetuated the cycle of violence between humans and monsters and it makes you think about what might happen in the future if monsters eventually get their hands on a human soul. Will they start another war with humanity immediately and what might the result of that be? Even though OG Undertale did also ends with a "everyone is dead now" type of ending there was a lot of interesting meta stuff tied to what Chara says and also just Chara's appearance in general makes it more interesting with all the theories you can make. OP really hit the nail on the head when they said "I didn't really learn anything from this route the same way I did in the original". PS!Outertale leaves you with nothing new. Asriel and Frisk are dead, as well as everyone in the outpost. That's it. IMO at the very least Asriel and Frisk should have been kept alive and maybe there should have been some hints of them planning to target humans or other planets or something in the future as a part of their quest to end all life in the universe or something. Literally anything would have been better than this lol. And it sucks too because Asriel coming back via stealing Toriel's soul and partnering with you for a gen run is such an interesting concept and I really like this version of Asriel but they threw it all out the window at the end by just randomly killing him lol. I'm kind of just tired of this excuse from Undertale fans whenever someone criticizes something inside of a geno route. Just because the game was purposefully designed to be bad does not make it good. Sure details in OG Undertale like monsters taking longer to be encountered as the amount of monsters in an area decreases are interesting the first time you notice it but they become an annoyance fast and there are other ways to show that an area's population is decreasing without basically forcing you to wait.
