Heavy Duty truck gets transmission replaced
Pto turns pump to create flow. Not pressure pumps don’t create pressure. Pressure happens when the flow meets restrictions. Open hose to an oil drum will show 20-50 psi but if it’s flowing rated GPM it’s working as it should.
This is a dumb test sir .
And it is that simple!! Thanks for the great explanation.
We bought one, i dont quite trust it either. It didn't even come with a battery.
Bro did a line and said "lets make a video"
you know those lugs should be torqued to 450-500 ft pounds you need a torque wrench to calibrate the guns the air guns go to 1200 ft pounds
Make sure they are torqued to the 475ft lb spec.
My man please give an advice a mechanic shop is trying to convence me to pay them 16 hours of labor to change both rear chunks in my dump truck 2007 Kenworth t800 I’m not a mechanic my I think they charging me tu much
He Kinda looks like the guy I saw at Menards today
If you left the Milwaukee on each lug for the additional time the other impact was on, it’d be just as tight
This is so stupid. If you’ve ever used a long shank 1” Milwaukee impact then you already know that this is only on setting 1. You can tell by how slow it’s moving and you can see literally see it under his hand when he first pulls the trigger. What a fruit
can't fix stupid😂😂 over torque
That wheel is snapping those bolts on the first pothole it hits
Thanks I didn't need those threads anyway
You can change modes on the Milwaukee bro..
Was that side wall cracked?🤔😮😅
Torque specs achieved with a torque wrench: existing
Over torqued
Thank you
A 3/4 Milwaukee rattle gun is more than sufficient for truck tires It's all I use and never had any problems.
She has a battery. She lost. Also prob not on all that good 😅
I'm interested. In getting one of these but how many batteries do I need to get to last me a full 8 hour day? I work at CN rail and some of the nuts on those chassis are seized on there pretty good.
We have the same problem, after watching your video we found it, thank you!
What is the pressure you need to engage the clutch pack
I think you guys got your moneys worth on the duals on the trailer 😮
I want to point out a couple of things. First, you had the Milwaukee set to 2, not 3. Second, you barely hit the lugs with the Milwaukee. It most certainly would have gotten them tighter if you had kept going. We stopped even using pneumatic guns where I work because the battery guns tend to be significantly stronger while also being a lot more convenient. We use an IR 1 inch though, not a Milwaukee.
Last owner def used this on my oil filter
Ur real good at explaining stuff. I'd love to pick your brain on something
Get the ingersoll rand 1 inch it shits all over the Milwaukee I think 3000 pounds breaking vs 2000 from the Milwaukee
Dropping it like that is kind of weak
I have that same exact Milwaukee and he had it on lug nut mode. It shuts it down before 450 ft lbs so you can torque it afterwards. You can customize drive modes and I spent a lot of time getting mine spot on at 500 for both dry and lubed studs. (2 different modes) and then number 3 is full bore which would way over tighten it. All that being said, it still doesn't have the brute strength of a good 1" air gun and is why I still use both.
Pneumatic wrenches, on average, are actually weaker than battery wrenches. I can't say anything about this Milwaukee, but where I work, we use a 1 inch IR battery wrench, and we have bought several 1 inch pneumatic wrenches that were supposed to be the strongest pneumatic, and so far none of them have even come close to being as strong as the battery wrench.
That granite or vhd or whatever it is only needs 550, which is speed 1 on the 2868, I have both as well, Though I don't even use my 2868 for small tasks like wheels, I use my 2864 3/4. I use my 1" 2868 on TOUGH jobs like Busted Vibrator brackets and mounts, output yolks that previously required my raptor and so on (basically anything my 3/4 wont). I run 1/2" copper from aerials , drops, and 1/4 turns at 150. So I HAVE air. But if I don't need to pull line, I'm not! Same back when I roofed, I'd much rather carry my 30° m18 over any if my air guns up a 40 ANY DAY. But hey, to each their own!!
Electric impacts take much longer to achieve max torque than pneumatic guns do. Most need 5-10 seconds of impacting before it’ll make anywhere close to its max rating. Ohh, and maybe put it in mode 3. We can see the selector lit up in mode 2.
Do you have any videos on how to do this procedure?
So in this video, are you repositioning the hitch?
Great video and great song
Thanks
Even so electric is advantageous and the majority of situations due to the size and not having a hose sticking off of it
Did that chain snap or did something else fail ?
Thank buddy, I’m main dealer and made use of this information as I wanted to see the mechanical engagement. Appreciate it.
Very scientific test. Extremely thorough
Check the torque done over torque
I’ve got Ryobi for DIY and I wasn’t sure if it cranked it good enough. I then tightened it with breaker bar and it was already pretty darn tight . I didn’t need breaker bar
Yeah feel like air has never had a lack of brute strength
Lift rear axle one foot off the ground and then lift frame . Screw two long studs into the axle housing to align differential bolt holes . Happy no one was hurt !
£l ll. Lllllll llllll lllllll. L. Lllllllll l. Lllllll lllllllllllllllll lllllll
They should call u stretch nuts. Them was just fine then u stretched the studs.
change it. do it right
Great video, thank you!
Thanks
