Nice.👍🏾💯🔥
I’ll be ordering this from you. My first time installing this gauge. You said the wire can go thru the back by the pedal? Do I hav to unscrew anything or can I just trace it thru the back? I don’t want to unscrew anything off. I have a 95.5 Tacoma
Is it possible to connect them to the fog lights?
Thanks homie had it up on the wheel this looks way cleaner hoping it fits my 03 tacoma just ordered one I'll keep you guys updated
Thank you for your order and support!
Wouldn’t be good for a manual
Do you prefer this over the Scangauge 2? Contemplating on between the 2 , mainly want coolant temp/ auto trans temp, intake temp, voltage
Nice video! Question for you! What floor mats do you use? I like the look of those
Thanks! The previous owner actually bought them so I got them with the vehicle, but they’re WeatherTech! Pretty sure it’s their generic fitment mats that can be trimmed to fit.
Can you also plug the add-a-fuse wire into one of the 10inj fuses? That’s what it shows on the Seven Sparta instillation video. I see many people use the 7.5amp USB2 plug that you used. Kind of confused on whether to use that plug or the 10INJ plug.
I believe you can use either, but as long as you have both fuses in the add-a-fuse (the one you remove from the port and the one provided from your lights purchase), you can pretty safely do some trial and error on what works and what won’t. The 10INJ is likely a safe bet from what we’ve seen, but we have not tried it this way. Hope this helps!
Hey dude, New Rav4 owner here, in a little bit of a pickle after installing these. Disclaimer: I'm not a car guy. This was really my first DIY attempt at adding a modification. Here's what happened. Two days ago, I installed raptor lights by following this video. After all, you made it look so easy. I clipped the lights into the grill and then moved on to wiring. I wrapped the (black) ground wire around a nearby bolt (not the battery) and secured it in place. Then for the power (red), the kit came with a little "add-a-fuse" type splitter for the fuse along with a 10amp fuse. I also decided to use the 7.5amp USB2 fuse located in the upper left corner of the fuse box. I plugged the "add-a-fuse" into the 7.5amp USB2 slot, and then put back the original 7.5amp fuse into one of the slots before filling the other slot with the 10amp fuse that came with the kit. (I suspect this is where I messed up). Anyways, I turned on the ignition and the raptor lights worked beautifully. I drove around the rest of the day, no problem. The next day, I was driving around and the dashboard tells me that the "Start Stop system" has a malfunction, and that it's been disabled and that I should see a dealer. I didn't sweat it, as I never really liked the system anyways. A few hours later, I see a "battery charging" alert on the dash. Again, didn't think anything of it. Then today (the second day), I was dropping my daughter off at school when she started playing with the power windows. Suddenly, I felt the steering wheel lock up (lose power steering). I look at my dash, and a whole myriad of alerts and lights lit up. The power steering symbol, the parking brake malfunction, the battery symbol, and several other system alerts. It was honestly scary and overwhelming. Panicked, I managed to immediately pull over and shut off my engine. Upon trying to restart it, I realized it wouldn't start. Very similar to a dead battery type situation, the dash lit up but the car wouldn't start- only make that clicking sound that we all dread. I managed to get someone to jump start my car, which worked at first, but immediately died a few moments after... which in my very limited knowledge of cars means that it's the alternator, right? Anyways, I remove the raptor lights completely (removed the ground wire from the bolt, and removed the "add-a-fuse" from the USB2 slot, putting back in the original 7.5amp fuse). I checked to make sure that fuse wasn't blown and it wasn't. Then we try jumping it again, this time leaving the cables on for 30 minutes. But no luck. After disconnecting, the car died a few moments later again. I've since had the car towed back to my home, but I'm confused, frustrated, and honestly a bit embarrassed feeling like I must have made a real rookie mistake without even knowing it. So many people seemed to have had such an easy time installing these lights. Right now, all I can think about it that I must have made a dumb mistake with the fuses. Maybe I should have only put one of the fuses back in the "add-a-fuse" instead of both? (10amp + 7.5amp in a 7.5amp slot) Maybe they should have been reversed in terms of which slot they were in? (Does that matter?) Anyway, I'm really hoping I didn't really mess up my car in a costly way. What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.
Hey Dennis, sorry to hear about the troubles. We all start somewhere with cars, so no shame there. Did you connect the black ground wire around the screw I mention in the video? It’s tucked down in there, but that’s a grounding screw. If not, that could be where things went wrong, as you really want to make sure the lights are grounded out and not attached to a random bolt that might not be grounded. That is where I would start. It could also be a bad battery - is the car brand new? Either way, I’d get the battery tested - it’s usually a free service at local automotive shops. It could be as simple as a coincidence and the battery was beginning to go bad. Since the lights were working, I really doubt the fuse situation caused any issues. You can run the add-a-fuse with only one slot filled, so that shouldn’t have caused any harm. Hope this helps.
So what did cause this problem?
Two questions, just to confirm these are accent lights, not driving lights of any sort? Second, is there any concern of restricting air flow to the rad behind?
Hey there, yes these are considered accent or marker lights, not for illuminating the road. We have had our inserts installed in a personal vehicle for 2 years in 115 F degree California heat with no radiator restriction or overheating noted whatsoever. That said, these do take up the top row of your grille holes, so please install at your own risk - this is stated out of an abundance of caution on our end for liability, but we can say that we’ve sold hundreds of these (as well as many other vehicles having similar installed) and there have been zero issues.
Good rig but expect to replace it , the lcd gives out
Had mine for 4 years plus and still going idk I think these are still the best bang for your buck
do you still have your 2019 RAV4 ? Would like a video idea for your channel ?
Yes we do!
@@revlimitdesigns How about doing a “Toyota integrated dash cam” installation video. The part numbers below are provided by Sparks Toyota, they also provided the installation guide. This should work on a 2019 or a 2020 RAV4. The Part numbers are: PT949-08210 ( dash cam ) PT949-48210 ( harness ) search = “ PT949-08210inst-venza.pdf “ to find the installation guide. The “Y” harness is used with the “windshield rain sensor” power connector.
Can you make something like this to add in rocker switch’s for accessories?
We will definitely look into this!
Thank you please let me know I see they make one for a 1st gen Tacoma
DUDEEEEE, thank you so much. I kid you not I have watched about 65 minutes of multiple videos and yet to see where to attach the ground…. Unreal, thank you for this video
There are 1,000 of these and none of them show how to Connect to the fuse box or the negative to the battery…. Can someone please do so
my lights did not come with a ground. Is that okay?
Hi There, we would recommend returning the lights for something with a ground wire. It is odd that they didn’t include a ground wire, as it could result in a hazard to you and the vehicle electrical system.
Hi Zack can you reply to me where I can buy them direct, I need 4. Do you know who else makes them?

the insert cost more than the lights.. Still got them lol
Yes, the lights are generally manufactured by companies overseas producing them in large quantities. We are a small family run business with many more costs involved, so your support is appreciated! Thanks for your order!

@@jovany298 thank you for your order!
hello my friend, i need help with my 2021 rav4 grille lights !. i inserted the red wire into one of headlight fuse inside the fuse box but the raptor lights somehow still stayed on even after the car was powered off, wtf ! so what fuse slot should i insert the red wire into so that it will turn off when the engine is powered off? thank you !
Hi Mike! I never had good luck with the headlight fuse sockets for the raptor lights, so that's why I went the USB2 fuse slot route. There is something active on the headlight fuse at all times it seems, so it reduces the add-a-fuse options down to the USB fuse slots. If you'd like them to only come on with the headlights, I'd recommend splicing directly into the headlight power harness, however that is something I didn't want to tackle for our personal car. We actually prefer that the lights are on at all times while the vehicle is running now that it's set up that way.
@@revlimitdesigns ….so to have the lights on when the car running is to insert the red wire into the ubs2 then? I guess that is what I want in the first place. I will try it tomorrow to see that works, thank you for your response
@@sanjose101ful that is correct. The add-a-fuse should be connected to the USB2 fuse port for them to be on while the vehicle is running. The location in the video is using exactly that port. Hope that works out well for you!
I need this clip kit can you please tell me where I can purchase them Thank you

it is sold out bro ! lol, i am stuck with the LED lights and cant find any insert for sale online
We will have more in stock this weekend! Listings should be up now!
Awesome video i did the exact samething as yours but i didnt have to cut the edge of the fuse box instead. I unscrewed the bolt underneath the last fuse labeled 30v. Then squeezed the white clip which seperated 3 inches of the fuse box then ran the cord there. I always try to find ways not to alter wires or cut any plastic lol.
You got any pictures?
HI there? Where can I get this lights?
Hi there, we recommend these in either color offered, but any of the same design should fit as well: Seven Sparta Led Lights 4 PCS with Fuse for 2016-2018 Aftermarket Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO Grille (Amber Shell with Amber Light) www.amazon.com/dp/B07YFN78XM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_6JE9D6N4PR1040RRF2F4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
To avoid any warranty issues, couldn't the raptor lights be tapped in to the side marker lights?
Yes they should be able to be tapped into an existing wire as well. The add-a-fuse is just a simple and quick option.
Do you have a video of you wiring them?
Not the wiring itself, but the general idea of how they are wired: th-cam.com/video/2t6aRTHM-cw/w-d-xo.html
Link to the raptor lights that work with the inserts?
We recommend these of either color, but any of the same exact Tacoma TRD Pro grille style will work: Seven Sparta Led Lights 4 PCS with Fuse for 2016-2018 Aftermarket Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO Grille (Amber Shell with Amber Light) www.amazon.com/dp/B07YFN78XM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_YCX9MVVR6W5E9X2ZQBRD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hi those are fit for Rav4 2021 limited.?
Yes, these will fit a 2021 Limited. That is actually what we are installing them on in the video.
Idk If the ones I got were 3D printed right but 3 of em broke the bottom piece with not a lot pressure and only one fit just perfect . For 43 these things cost more then the actual lights
Message me on Etsy with your order number and we'll get you taken care of. Sorry to hear you had issues with them, this isn't a normal characteristic of the inserts.
So the inserts does not work for trd offroad grill?
That's correct, these are only for the models listed in the video title.
Is that main ground in the same area on the hybrid? Other raptor light install vids have the negative wire grounded to the battery's negative port but that isn't close by on the hybrid model. Is there a spot you'd recommend for hybrids?
I haven't seen where the grounding post is on the Hybrid, but I'd imagine it would be in the same spot. There may be a couple different grounding areas. You can also ground on the negative terminal, but it is best done grounding it to the body.

It is shown in the video at about the 3:00 minute mark. It's the silver screw that grounds to the vehicle chassis.
I grounded it to some other screw on the chassis which was more comfortable to unscrew and its working fine.
