I wonder if the devs will ever zenkai awaken the yellow sparking pigtails Videl, then we really would have a full useable Videl team that covers all of her outfits in Z, except for that blue and orange outfit she had on the lookout.

WARNING ⚠️ LENGTHY BUT HELPFUL REPLY INCOMING, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED 😁. First, let me say this so there isn't any confusion, in no shape or form am i trying to be rude, i just want to offer some advice. these next girls that im going to list off are both useable in the current meta and can help blue Videl shine, and trust me, she's worth it. Do you have the yellow pan, purple bulla, and kyawei yet. If so, try using them with Mai and the blue Videl, with bulla in the leader slot. Pan and bulla don't have girls z abilities, but their kits, teamwork and death buffs more than make up for it. I choose to put bulla in the leader slot because, these girls can already buff their own attacks, so having them go with someone who can give extra double defense helps them stay in the fight longer. Also, for the green videl, bulla and either pan or the blue Videl are her best pairings. 14 star extreme purple vados is also great. The super Saiyan goten equipment in co-op gives Videl great base and pure defense if she goes with a Saiyan and hybrid Saiyan. Bulla has both of those tags because of the Vegeta assist. As for needing pan, ex vados or the blue Videl, you want to get the awakened equipment " You Failure " for green and sagas from the movies. This gives the green videl pure strike attack and defense if she goes with a melee or defense battle member. So if green videl goes with bulla, pan, vados and/or, blue Videl, then altogether she gets: A pure +20% to strike defense. A pure +15% to blast defense. A pure +10% to strike attack. Green Videl gets to become a great team supporter, a good tank, and heavy strike attacker. As a girls main, I always want to help others with tips for building a sturdy girls team, they've the attack power, they just need some sustainablitiy and then some.

I don't care what anyone says, this new Videl is awesome, she is fulfilling her role, as a melee/defense/support type as was intended. Why is it that people don't understand that this videl was meant to be ran exclusively on the girls team, to give them the buffs they've been needing and to fill in the blanks they've been missing. Because of this videl, the girls tag is finally somewhat more useable again, as along as you have the yellow pan, purple bulla, green videl, kyawei, and mai. They now have a full wheel color wheel with great support, power and ways to disrupt and debuff your opponent. I can see what the devs are trying to do with this tag, they're intentionally spreading out their abilities and utilities amongst the girl units, enforcing teamwork and synergy, rather than giving it all to just one unit to carry the whole tag, like ultra golden frieza for LOE or ultra majin vegeta for the vegeta clan, before they got the f2p red and the zenkai awakening for purple vegeta. The girls tag is more about teamwork and strategy instead of using brain dead units, i highly respect that aspect about them, which is way, it's way more fun for me, when i outplay my opponent and make them forfeit because they cant handle losing to the girls tag. So far, anybody who says she's bad, has been using her in a completely wrong way, like someone that just got a new gun and says it's broken and doesn't work, yet all they did was forgot to take the safety off, but they want to complain and say that it's defective.

the first guy. this proves that girls need a huge buff. the very fact u play 100 times better than him and u were almost getting rekt. we need a lot of sparkling zenkai buffs or plat equips or lf girls and mabe ultra kelfa.... cause the problem with girls their def is really trash except like blue videl. the only really good ones would be red mai and purple bulla. anyways very nice video

Ive been running her with 9 stars and she does decent damage. But i feel the devs mislabled her. She feels more like a defense/disrupt time then a damage dealer. If you play her as designed, she is pretty good. I think the hate for this character in the community is unwarranted.
