Let me try to get my hands on a few more paddles to do that review. I know the 10mm invikta was sold out for a while. Anything in particular you'd like to see tested between the paddles?

Could you do a more detailed review on the 10mm Epic? I would really appreciate it if I could see it played on the court.

It isn't simply the sound of the balls bouncing, but how it feels/reacts at each location of the paddle comparing the two. I was basically simulating how the ball bounces off of the paddles in a off-center dink scenario. If you have ever used the power air, then it would be a similar feel, but with an increased sweet spot due to the titanium mesh they added inside the face of the new 007. If you have any other ideas for comparing the 2 paddles, I'd be happy to try it out. Thanks!

I just use a wet rag and water, nothing more than that. Are you finding that your 007 is particularly dirty?

I'm considering the 10mm Invikta one. Does it feel like hitting a board?

@@sohosterable I feel like the titanium mesh inside the paddle gives extra stability, sweet spot, and a better feel than the power air even though the 10mm is thinner. Be sure to get the deal soon before the sale ends!

@@Selkirk-AdvocateNot sure if I’ll go for it. The $40 gift card doesn’t appeal to me. I prefer the $73 off the bat. Plus I have to pay for delivery to Canada and I’m sure I’ll get dinked for brokerage fees.

I personally use Gaffer tape since I have a whole roll of it already. It’s like duct tape but it doesn’t leave any residue when you take it off.

I got one as a heavyweight so didn't add tape to it. But for the midweight invikta, I added 2x 8" tungsten strips on each side from the middle of the patent pending up the side. imgur.com/a/DJsjaMB

My first promo unveiling video of the 007 with Parenteau was my own video taken in person. All of the JOEs only received the 14mm version. I was the first to order the 10mm before the announcement even got sent out for early access - so theoretically I could get it first to get it 🤞and I'll post up my review then.

Currently I have it weighted at 8.35oz. I'll play around with putting a hesacore grip on it so that may take the weight up a bit in the future.

@@Selkirk-AdvocateWell I have the Epic Pro. Quite happy with it. To spend an additional $333 I am not about to do until I get to demo one as the swing weight and twist weight has me quite skeptical. A Selkirk rep has one but will not be back where I play as he is in Florida doing clinics until Nov 20. If I do like it I would need to sell the Epic Pro first.

I got an early pre-release edition of the paddle. I'll post another video of the 10mm epic version soon with the briefcase and do a video comparison.

Unfortunately not that Randell, but I'm sure he probably hits just as hard.

Hopefully the new project 007 changes your mind. It's been great to play with and it''s supposed to be 3x more durable than RCF. I like that Selkirk is paving it's own tech path rather than just copying what is mainstream.
