The UK should have adult adoption like USA Germany does

Let's start with basics. All adoption starts with ĺoss. There are alternatives to adoption other than erasing the history, culture and birth family of a child. Money should be invested in first family. Research shows adoption is not the best option except in very few cases. Very few. Adults on this panel overshared to children who have no idea of the lifelong impact on them as a result of severance. Nor did the adults on the panel have any idea of trauma. And not protecting the identity of these children is wrong. They deserve privacy . Adoption is not a better life , even at best. It is simply a different one.

Brilliant film a tough panel! But exactly what's needed. I hope more grownups who are able come forward to become a part of & to provide a loving family for those wonderful children who so deserve it.

L'autre côté negative est que Les enfants adoptés grandissent avec beaucoup des blessures historiènnes et que personnes ne pourra guerrir. Appalling behaviour by Suffolk county. Are they not concerned for the safety of these children. Even after adoption they have a responsibility towards these children

Appalling behaviour by Suffolk county. Why are they not going out of their way to address this. Are the authority not concerned about the safety of the children if nothing else. They have placed this family at risk.
