Columbus Day 2016

A thrilling endurance race with the whole company split up into teams. Hair pin turns and deadly oil slicks on the track. Truly a harrowing adventure!

My father was a sailor in the Navy at the end of WWII. He had wanted to go on an "Honor Flight" which flies a group of WWII vets to DC to visit war monuments but he passed away before he could. They honored him and another man who also missed the flight in the same way.

We got to this track its first day open - so new that the wood dust was in our noses that first day. What a wild track!! Powersliding all the way down the spirals - best Go Kart track I have ever seen!!

Let's see how 350 HP and a manual transmission feels to a 16 year old girl!

Celeste gave me a GoPro camera for Christmas, the kind you mount on a crash helmet or on a race car. I strapped it to the side of my head and took it to work. It's my first video.
