@@legendsaddlegear thanks Steve, when are you going to transition to a stick and a string.
Very cool! Not an easy go!
@@thecodeoftraditionalarcher2726 it’s been harder than expected but extremely fun so far!

We will have progress over the next several weeks
Oh man, it’s time to go check this place out!
@@lcon1364 Yea, Steve’s a great guy and it seems he has everything you can think of.
Good job guys, you’re learning very fast!
@@legendsaddlegear thanks Boss
Happy Independence Day Bob!
@@davidpaine7915 thanks David right back at ya! 🇺🇸🎆
hmmm, sorry but I couldn't get past the title of your vid :) 10 gauge for a Turkey? Holy cow! how far you shooting at em? No offense but looking at the land in your vid seems similar to what we hunt round here, and on our own ranch, we hunt em with air rifles shooting nothing but headshots as we got tired of digging lead our of birds. Our shots range from around 20 yards out to just under 50...Only thing we use Ten's for is shooting SNOW GEESE and with the loads necessary to reach em in the air, most guys don't care to use much ammo :) LOL. Sorry, but I'm serious as to why anyone would want to use a TEN for wild turkeys.
It’s a combination of a quick ethical kill and the memories of years gone by.
Very informative, keep up the good work and videos!!
Thanks boss
Nice gun ,use what works best for you, whatever your comfortable with confidence in your tools is worth a lot
Thanks
Keep it up Bob!
Thanks
The memories made are the best thing about hunting. I too would give anything to get to hunt one more time with my Dad. I’m doing all I can to give those and more opportunities to my sons and grandsons. Just found and subscribed to your channel.
You are absolutely correct, it is so important for people like us to share what we know to the younger generation. I can’t wait to get my grandkids out in the field.
great video
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Please check out our channel and subscribe.
Take me home…❤
Come on back
Excited!
Good luck!
Last year I called in a bear. I had a Jake and hen decoy set up about 25 yards to my right and happened to catch movement near the decoys. I shifted my position towards the bear and we looked at each other for a while before he decided to move on.
Wow, that sounds cool
It’s 6:52 am and as I’m watching your video I’m also hearing a gobbler in the woods near my farmhouse.
2 more weeks.
Can you share what state you are hunting turkeys?
The Virginia Mountains
I thought so. I’m in Nelson county Virginia which is between Waynesboro, Charlottesville, Lynchburg.
@@Alianderfarm We are in Rockingham, Nelson is nice country.
Enjoy listening to you both. Especially like how happy you guys are in your videos
Glad you enjoy it!
Jason, Ran into your videos while hunting turkey in Florida. Keep up the good work. Rick L.
Thank you
You sure explain it for people to understand. Hopefully many will hear this and have some luck this spring
Thank you
awesome. First season turkey hunting. went out scouting last weekend and got within 50yards of what sounded like 3 gobblers and some hens for sure. super excited for opening weekend
That’s what is all about, nice work!!!
Good video, just received my summit open shot today. Was thinking of switching the seat to a hazmore. Would love to hear your thoughts about that.
If I was a using a tree climber regularly, I would probably consider the same type of change for Less bulk to carry.
Rest that righteous voice, big Brother. Pray for me. Please pray for me.
Profound, we should all pray for each other.
870 Slug Gun?
Nope, It’s my turkey gun.
Nice!
These guys are awesome
Thank you for the kind words! 👍
ok good see more from you soon thanks🤙

I personally suggest Delta Waterfowl for ducks and wetlands and National Deer Alliance for Deer and woodlands. Plenty of volunteer opportunities.
Agreed
You guys are doing a great job!
Thanks Steve!!
Listen to you body it knows

Sometimes a break is good, you need time for rest and adaptation. Good work brother 💪🏻
Thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks
One day at a time and keep focusing on your goal you got this
Thanks
Keep up the good work and feel better
Thanks Boss
TH-cam used to have a ton of people doing a lot with very little.. Now it seems like all the channels are sponsered or working on their new 500 acres hunting property... I'll never own 500 acres. I'm glad to see a real person doing things the way most of us have to
Thank you, We are trying to keep it simple on the our channel in an attempt to getting back to basics.
Just saw the video you posted. Looks like you're in a good area.hope you succeed in your mission What state are you in?
Yep, Virginia
Keep it up! 👍🏽
Thanks Bro
Remember the hardest part is the start there will be set backs along the way but put then behind you and keep moving forward
Very good advice, thanks!!!
Great job keep it up
Thanks boss, appreciate the vote of confidence’
You can do it bud!
Thank for the support!!
Keep it up brother!
Thanks
Any tips or tricks to keeping your knife sharp or sharpening?
I have a sharpening setup with a couple types of stones at home so I be sure there sharp before I hunt and I keep a small 220 stone and a small piece of leather in my pack for touch up work in the field.
We’ll do a knife sharpening show soon.
You aint gonna see any deer with your phone out filming yourself talking out loud...
I have though ……. The only deference is that I had a Bow in my hand instead of a Rifle.
You’re in an ash tree. Am I wrong?
Really not sure
