    At its peak, Carthage was a cultural and economic powerhouse, but its ambition led to inevitable conflict with the emerging power of Rome, sparking the epic Punic Wars. Watch as we delve into the seeds of this conflict, from the First Punic War to the brilliant military strategies of Hannibal, who led his forces across the Alps in one of the greatest military campaigns in history. Despite his triumphs on Italian soil, the tides of fortune eventually shifted, and the Roman Empire answered with devastating force.

    This city's fate reminds me of a quote by historians Will and Ariel Durant "Human civilization rests on geological consent subject to change without notice!" So many significant places have disappeared because of nature's fits of anger -Pompeii, Antioch, Ephesus, Port Royal to name just a handful.

    The positioning of the Pyramids is nothingto do with higher ground or rock base. It was based on the relationship to the Milky Way and the position of Orion to that celestial body. And, many other pyramids built were put in position where other stars were in relation to the Nile(Milky Way), like Saqqara and others. In addition, they were there before, just not built so large, so they existed many thousands of years before the large edifices were built on top of those old temples. The Sphinx was built, and it's temple, thousands of years before the large pyramids. The Nile also was much nearer the Pyramids before, and had many more channels than it does today. The sea levels were much lower in the Med than it is today and there are many archaeological finds waiting out there on the former plain that the Nile went there into the sea. They were not built as tombs, but a waiting place where the Pharoes were interred waiting for the right celestial star positioning to take them up to Orions belt. It was not built by the Egyptians of today, they are Arabs who invaded. There are some real Egyptians existant and are called Coptic Christians.

    • @Frontierperson
      @Frontierperson 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing your perspective on the positioning and purpose of the Pyramids and other ancient structures. There are many intriguing theories about the relationship between these structures and celestial bodies, such as the Milky Way and Orion’s Belt. The idea that the Pyramids and other ancient sites like Saqqara were strategically placed to align with specific stars adds a fascinating layer to our understanding of ancient Egyptian civilization. It's true that the Sphinx and its temple might have origins predating the larger pyramids, and the shifting course of the Nile over millennia has certainly impacted the landscape and the accessibility of these ancient monuments. The notion that sea levels and the configuration of the Nile Delta have changed significantly since ancient times is well-supported by geological evidence. Regarding the Pyramids’ function, while the traditional view is that they were tombs for pharaohs, alternative theories suggest they might have had additional purposes, possibly related to their alignment with the stars and the afterlife beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. The discussion about the modern-day Egyptians and the historical invasions adds another layer of complexity to the cultural and ethnic history of the region. The distinction between ancient Egyptians and the current population, which includes a mix of various ancestries due to historical migrations and invasions, is an important point in understanding the evolution of Egyptian identity. Thank you for contributing to this fascinating discussion about one of history's most enigmatic civilizations.

    The Cradle of Civilization is Greece. You still have to use Greek geographical names like "mesopotamia" to promote your Zionist lies. Yes, Jews are non-White Semites from Ur of Babylon. Palestinians were in Palestine before Jews arrive from the Ur of Babylon. And Babylon is the great whore (Apocalypse), not cradle of civilization.
