This was so eye-opening! The power of the mind is incredible-definitely going to apply these techniques to my daily life.

When the veil is lifted from your eyes, you finally realise that there is a higher power, God the Creator, that life it's not all about youself and what you can get out of it...a "me" centred life is selfish and self idolatry. If we all subscribed to the "me" centred ideology, then nobody would do anything remotely 'good' for anyone else. _"Ask not what can your god do for you, but what can you do for your God."_ When you come to know that life isn't all about you, then you will understand your true purpose in life. Ephesians 2:10 - _For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them._ Matthew 11:28-30 - _"Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"_ - Jesus John 7:37 - _"If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."_ - Jesus John 8:31-32 - _“...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”_ - Jesus John 10:10 - _"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."_ - Jesus 2 Corinthians 5:17 - _Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new._

Elon is exactly correct in his X post. Hedonistic secularism does leave people with a feeling of discontentment, having no real and meaningful human connection, feeling hollow inside, forever searching for that next 'fix' to feel something, even if they know it's only for a short while, hence the 'fix' - to get that dopamine rush. Social media has exacerbated the problems that this new-age secularism brings, with cases of depression, anxiety, and suicide. Religion is not the answer. Jesus, is the answer. We are all spiritual beings, which is why we all instinctively know that there's something more to the world that we see. We consist of three elements: 1. Our Body. 2. Our Mind. 3. Our Soul. Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, _“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness..."_ Jesus, is God, and He walked among us ~2,000 years ago. Exodus 3:14 - _And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”_ And ~1500 years later, Jesus said this to the religious leaders of the time, who were trying to find reasons to kill Him: John 8:58 - _Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”_ Jesus did not like religion either, nor, what the religious leaders of the time had done to the people. That's why He made a whip of cords, and chased the traders out of the Temple. For those of you feeling anxious, depressed, helpless, and hollow inside, Jesus _knows_ your pain, and He is the _only_ One who can fill that void - permanently. It is definitely NOT blind faith. Matthew 11:28-30 - _"Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light"_ - Jesus John 7:38 - _"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”_ - Jesus People say "the truth and shall you free"...without really knowing where that quote comes from. Well, here it is in full: John 8:31-32 - _“...If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”_ - Jesus If you want to find Jesus, He's only at arms length from you (in Spirit). He is waiting for you to honestly seek Him and talk with Him. There are no "special" prayers to pray, you do not have to go to church to find and talk with Him. Just be open and honest with Him, and He will respond to you. Just find a quiet place, with no distractions, and start talking to Him - ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and wait/watch what happens next! Read the New Testament...Gospel of John and/or Gospel of Matthew (or read them all!) The Bible is _full_ of historical facts, and archaeologists (Christian and secular), rely on the Bible because of its accuracy. There's simply too much *tangible* evidence (including the Dead Sea scrolls), that prove the Bible is remarkably accurate and consistent. Being a believer and follower of Jesus, means that you're _never_ alone. You have real and genuine purpose. You have assurance of eternal and abundant life when we leave this physical realm; you still have free will, and you will be able to see very clearly what is going on in the world - that's why Jesus said "...the truth shall make you free..." - All His words are very specifically chosen and in specific order.
