Very good master taekwon brazil
Can we please get more? I want to be able to exercise off this while being able to learn how to defend myself, incase of danger
I think it’s a funny camera angle because it looks like you’re kicking a height on the bag below where the knee would be. It might be nice to put some tape on the bag and stand next to it to show the height relative your leg.
I just started muy this after being a BJJ practitioner for about 3 years. Now doing both and is very excited to continue this martial arts journey. Hoping to look back at this comment someday once I start getting better at muy Thai. Thank you for the tutorial!
No offence but I don't understand how someone can do those breaths and the sine-wave during execution of every technique many many years without questioning
Hey great question, the best I can suggest is that with practice it becomes subconscious. Within patterns it is quite automatic, however during other applications such as sparring, sine-wave, may not always be executed.
@@tmaanz6424 hello and thanks for a good answer to a rude question!
Wow, nice one dude

Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you.
Do you guys still do boxing lessons?
Not anymore, sorry.

Thank you.
Verry good lesson Master
Thank you.
Thank you, Master Christine!
I do 'Professional Unification of Martial Arts' Taekwondo which follows all the ITF patterns, moves etc, basically a British version of ITF. I found this really helpful and it did help improve my walking stances (even though I am a Yellow Green Tag Belt). Thank you.
Great to hear, glad we could help.
I studied with Ray 39 years ago in London. It was the start of a life long appreciation of Chinese arts which lead my to study Chinese medicine. Funny to see he moved to NZ as well. Thank you for your time effort and kindness from a former student.
Thank you, I will let Sifu know.
One of the best vids I have ever seen. Love to take a lesson from you. But, I doubt I'm in your locale.
Thank you very much.
Sorry no course from Master Young.
@@tmaanz6424 can you please tell me, what is Tae Kwon Do comprised of? I know there is some Shotokan in there. Is there any Kung Fu influence?
What is the feet springing action at 5:50 for? Is there a full online course by Master Christine Young?
Basically its so you "drop" into the punch so that you can use gravity and your body weight to assist you in terms of power n such.

Older Gal Here. Earned my 1st Dan in 1999. Had a series of health issues and life changes that knocked me off the path to 2nd Dan. Several years and a couple of surgeries later (most recently angiograms to both legs and a stent in one) I stumbled across this video and am now slowly starting all over again at the beginning. I may never be able to kick as high as I did when I was much younger, but I am gradually seeing smal,l incremental increases in my strength, flexibility and endurance. 😊
Fantastic, great to hear that our videos are helping you on your journey back to mobility and has just got you training again
@@tmaanz6424 I think Master Christine Young is an extraordinary ITF Taekwondo martial artist. I hope she hosts some sparring seminars in the future.
This is the same style I did 12 years ago.
Nice, Sifu Ray Smith has been teaching 5 ancestors for over 50 years, I love how it incorporates both Southern and Northern Shaolin techniques.
@@tmaanz6424 i need to try and remember this i cant get a sifu like i had again where i am.
@@tmaanz6424 i used to train in Bradford, West Yorkshire, back in 2011. Was doing Chen Wu Kuan for q number of years. Very hard to do but I loved it at the same time. A great art where you dont grade normally either like other traditional styles. I respected that.

Hey Rogue, nice to hear from you, are you still training.
Is ITF can be use in actual combat?
WTF taekwondo is for sports. ITF is deadly and goes with different rules. No light strike. Your opponent will keep striking you untill you get knocked out.
@@westernvibes1267 oh i see, thank you😊
ITF Taekwondo, karate, boxing, and Muay Thai are great for self defense. WTF Taekwondo is good for sport.
@@yeetfeet1878 that’s why it’s called wtf
ITF Taekwon-Do is great for managing range, developing a diverse range of striking tools and like most martial arts if trained with intent and purpose is very functional in combat. You see this in MMA fighters like Rose Namajunas who recently knocked out Zhang Wei Li with a lead leg turning kick.
Taekwon Master Christine!
Thank you
