    The worst story, I think, was a baby lost his parents and this one nursing mother was supposed to feed him (wet nurse) but instead she gave him cows milk and he died in agony. Good story. Oh and the party was warned not to travel but they did anyway.

      Custer fortunately was not a fool during the Civil War where lead some significantly successful calvary operations. You should go to the battle field. Custer did not understand or believe the numbers of Cheyenne and Sioux who were encamped.
