2:59:55 Not true. Just re-start from the last mission save. And you can use the maintenance jack on the face huggers if you time it right. Best done from standing, not coaching (oddly). This has the advantage of not alerting adult Xenos in the area when you are liquidating their spawn (as the jack is considered a silent weapon, at least vis-a-vis facehuggers). I've had runs in the nest where I've never had to use the flamethrower once through proper stealthing, hammering facehuggers and a bit of RNG luck.

After the server section of Mission 10 you can easily avoid the humans (also saves a little travel time) by going to the top of the first stairs you come to when backtracking (the orange ones you shut down the doors to with the neutral android patrolling around). There is a door here to Systech Lobby from which you can crawl past the humans into the Gemini lobby and if you follow carefully the one guy patrolling here you can sneak into the lift to Gemini unnoticed.

What I’m seeing here is Yakuza/Resident Evil crossover.

In the first part of Mission 8 you don't have to kill the robot. He is hard to distract but it can be done and I have done it several times (well, on Hard anyway).
