Battleborn (September 2024) - Every Deadlock player should try this game
It's September 2024, and these past few weeks I have been playing Deadlock and a fan made Battleborn mod, which is playable offline (versus bots). And, I must say - I'm one very happy gamer! I hope the final release of Deadlock will have a 100% offline-mode. I also hope that Battleborn will be OFFICIAL brought back, because the "new" fan mod is amazing! And it works!

Hey! So far the game is playable, but you need to already have it in your Steam Library. The mod is still being tweaked, but it works. It's not 100% yet, but some of us are already playing the game VS bots. With a few bugs. If you don't have the game, the modders are encouraging people to buy it somewhere, at a discount (maybe on Amazon or something). But you need to buy the Steam version. Those that have the demo version can also re-download it via Steam, and use the mod. And I have to re-emphasise one more time that - the mod isn't 100% perfect yet. I'm playing the Steam version. There is a fan mod that's been out for a bit. But you need to have the game in your Steam Library, some opted to go buy it on Amazon, others had the demo (from before the shutdown), and others had the full game. All options work with the mod. Hey man just wanted to ask, is this game completely playable with bots? Like it was before server shut down?
Hey! Yes, there is a mod that's out. Search for Battleborn Reborn on Twitter, and here. It allows you to play with bots, without the need for an internet connection. The only challenge is its still being refined and polished up.. sometimes it refuses to launch. In my last two matches I had to try twice before the game agreed to launch. But once its launched and you are in the game, it never crashes. It'll only require you to restart the client again AFTER you have finished your match and gotten your results. Is it playable? - Yes 100% I played 2 matches today, and I have played more than, or around 30 matches (probably close to 50 matches) now since I got the modded client. So - yes, it works. Is it perfect? - No... not yet. Will it get updated and improved? - Yes, the people behind the client are doing some improvements as we speak, but it might take a bit of time.
