Derry is an awesome guitar player that came up with some epic guitar work and I mean EPIC. My defenition of Derry would be a mix of Ritchie Blackmore and Eddie Van Halen.I just love this guy. P.S. I wrote this above before I heard that his favorite band was Deep Purple and Ritchie Blackmore ( BTW, same here). Some 5-6 years ago I've met Kim Mitchell at a car wash(?!?) and we got to talk...at one point I told him Ritchie Blackmore was my idol to which he replayed: "My too". 😂

It's great that you got a sit down chat with Leo. Those were different times and Alvin was the guitarist and vocalist of TYA but his frustrations are touching. UFO is the greatest rock and roll band of all time and Leo got them started, really. His dealing with Alvin surely helped the German wunderkid who knew little English fit in studio-wise and gave them a solid base and footing. UFO's slog, going thru Chicago 3 X's a year for example did the rest. Yet, I'll always see Leo thumping that bass like he was on some crazy speed so maniacally at Woodstock on Goin' Home. And then Alvin picked up the watermelon. Whew.

Gene Simmons committed Sexual Battery against Rachael Gordon in January 2018 at her home she shared with Ace Frehley. She ended up homeless. Gene Sent in a lawyer when she was in a trailer in 120F to supposedly represent her and he connived Rachael Gordon to sign a release to drop the lawsuit against Gene. He is refusing to pay her anything for his bodily assault. He assaulted a cook at a Rock and Brews in a Casino in CA and he assaulted a TV reporter as well. Paying off assault victims to shut up is legal in CA and it enables offenders to continue to assault victims. Gene is an offender and should never be celebrated at all.
