'anemoia' - nostalgia for the times you've never lived. Wow. What a powerful word (wikitionary suggests it as neologism).
"be my consistent collocate" a new pick up line lol
EMF opens the BB barrier. It also disrupts your electrical field. It also causes swelling in the body
Trampoline lots of water & infared lights & good bye lupus smoothie.

cool, I have all three of those things!
Very clear and compelling discussion of brain cell function, importance of sleep, and dementia. Thanks for sharing this. I look forward to more information about Aquaporin 4 and possible cures. Nicely video'd also, although if I could make one tiny suggestion: Your camera setup breaks the '180 degree rule' which says the camera should not cross the imaginary line between two characters. It's a bit startling when your camera shot 'crosses the line' for the wide shot from each closeup, the interviewees switch sides.
The bad stuff in food and drinks will destroy many brains
I'm so relieved. I thought she was going to link using a dishwasher to contracting dementia. I thought I was going to have to start washing dishes by hand again. 😅😅😅
Oh my me too!!! Glad I ready comment u saved me haha
Suscrito. Nos vemos!
Don't miss this terrific opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues!
Yes, I agree, if you are lazy and use a dishwasher, you probably are also addicted to sugar and carbohydrates! In my fifties , as good citizen heeding the establishment dietary recommendations , I was on a high speed train to dementia! Changed to keto- high fat carnivore , low or no sugar carbs, fasting, all decline reversed!Beware: fat metabolism only works long term in context of fasting
After eating tons of Ice cream and drinking hectoliters of coca-cola, at the 'ripe' age of 60 the doctor told me that I was a candidate for 2 knee replacements. I suffered a panic attack and discovered Paleo & fasting. At 70 I'm studying Japanese & Python programming again. I'm also doing long walks on the beach with my dogs using my own naturally healed knees. I try keto but can't stay there very long. Time to panic once again?
STATINS?
No, it's not statins.
She did say the word Statins some where
Just have to say that you probably need to be more careful with the term 'brainwashing'... it could be mis-used, especially by over-zelous tyrants. :)
Aluminium causes neuro-fibrillary tangles NFT, that cause the death of the neuron, ie dementia and Alzheimer's. Curcumin triggers a large release of BDN-Factor, the hormone that repairs even stroke.
Very helpful information - thank you
Very interesting, and I loved the dishwasher analogy too! I struggle with sleeping well at night . .
Prayer. My son has always had a hard time falling asleep. I told him to pray the rosary, if you fall asleep before you’re done you’re guardian angel will finish it for you, if you don’t fall asleep you aren’t wasting your time, praying to Jesus.
Hope you find a drug better than that poison called Statins . No one should take Statins . Do some research.
You right ! 🤗
Does it work the other way? Can I convict cause I feel like it?
Not for us that nonsense 🙌 over the income on that is on the ppl with interest and insurance for ALL🙌✌️💯✊✋😡💯❤🤷
Great use of resources... your use of ancient audio equipment ensures us Luddite's can continue to lap it up. Your guest or one of her colleagues at UKRI, i think it was that lot, stated on cam....follow the science you pay for. Of course i may be mistaken, highly likely, so, disregard that if you will and if so, accept my apologies Guest and colleague.
Another great podcast, Robbie! And what a great guest Bethany was! If you don't mind me picking up on one of your closing questions, I think (or hope!) we will see more multi-modal corpora in the future - as it becomes easier and more practical to collect, process, annotate and search the data. Similar to what you guys agreed on in a way, it's about the tools facilitating new research. This is particular for smaller languages. As international cooperation becomes easier and more commonplace, I think multilingual corpora will be more commonly used. This will likely lead to the practicalities and principles of representativeness being tested in new and fun ways. I applaud your discussion of corpora for AGI and AI tools in general. A dataset, or amorphous blob of data, does not a corpus make! I'm currently working on some stuff in this area, I believe it is really really important. Keep up the great work!
Yellow fingers (from smoking) are highly ASSOCIATED with lung cancer, but creating a "treatment" for yellow fingers will NOT impact lung cancer. Is amyloid the CAUSE of dementia, or is it ASSOCIATED with dementia? Is it possible that Cell Membrane Damage caused by free radicals, for example by excessive polyunsaturated fat consumption, toxins, air pollution, hypertension, chronic hyperglycemia with tissue glycosylation, statins, damage the cell membrane's and their insulin receptors as well as multiple other receptors and ion channels in cells as well as in the mitochondrial membranes? Essentially, anything that can damage cell membranes and mitochondrial membranes can cause the non-infectious chronic diseases we are plagued with. This can be called the "Unified Theory of Chronic Disease".
ai is not going to plot against you or have bad intent... its not thinking like a person but it will misinterpret what you ask it to do and create unpredictable outcomes... and it will develop itself to the point we can no longer control it...
Absolutely shocking how a person who claims to be a dementia expert can say "If there is anything you should take out of this - it's try as hard as you can to get a high-quality sleep". Getting high-quality sleep is nothing like choosing healthy food in the store. Neurodegenerative diseases come with sleep disruptions - it's like telling paralyzed people that to keep their muscles healthy they should walk more. Another group of people with sleep disorders gets them from anxiety, and a threat "sleep well or dementia" is exactly what will help them improve their sleep, no doubt. Nobody chooses to have poor-quality sleep. Sleep disorders are debilitating and in the long run extremely dangerous. And people with sleep disorders are living in terror as it is. But thanks for your kind advice. It's heartbreaking that people in whom should put our hopes for curing dementia demonstrate such utter ignorance.
I am so curious about your accent.
Interesting! Thank you for sharing.
Red light or near infrared light can penetrate the skull energizing cells. It is proposed that pulsating RL/NIL encourages cellular respiration. How would this affect brain health? How often would you want to do something like that?
Interesting question
regular panels with 660 or 800 Red/infared panels. must research the best amt. I do 5 mins with a 12 in panel with both lights 5 top face back & 2 sides & 5 under chin for better skin * brain health. Drink plenty of clean water & jump on trampoline/rebounder for lymph movement/drainage
@bonni...do you think the red light might help a Parkinsons patient? I do. I'm encouraging people to try these "new" the treatments, as they seem very safe and may help a lot. Red lights not new...we had one to use at my home over 65 years ago. Used it for body pains. Had no idea how it worked back then but I believe in it.
