May Book Review 📚 Some Average Romances & Some Twisty Mysteries!
What’s your job? It sounds so similar to mine 😂
I work at a University in the apprenticeship team, its a lot of meetings!
@ ahahaha so weird… i do the same job!
No way, what a small world, well I hope you enjoy what I am sure is a well deserved Christmas break!
I love the whole Thursday Murder Club series. The first and fourth book are my favourite so far. I’ve not read Osmans latest book yet, which is a new series. I think it’ll be awesome though. It always surprises me how popular his books are in America too, because, as you said, they’re full of British humor and references, which I’m not sure how they translate there.
I heard an advert for his latest book the other day and it sounded pretty good but its another series which puts me off a little. Thank you for watching!
When visiting Denmark be aware that there is a 25% sales tax on everything, though included in the listed price. This is how Denmark is able to tax the many tourist visiting, but this also mean that the infrastructure is excellent and everything is kept clean and there is quite a lot of free stuff. You visited Tivoli that is quit expensive , but the worlds oldest amusement park (founded in 1583) only a 10 minutes drive north of Copenhagen, actually has free entry, if you do not intent on going on any of the rides. Also, when eating out the food is not really all that pricy considering the quality, but the beverages are often almost as expensive as the food, and would cost you around £0.5 at a supermarket, so good advise is to buy your beverages at a supermarket and not at a restaurant where you will get totally ripped off, even at a fast-food McD.
Oh wow I didn't know the oldest amusement park was also near by, we will have to have a trip to that one if and when we return! Thank you for all the information :)
Imagine Dad at an 11:30 all you can eat, he'd be delighted. I can see how the Tivoli roller coaster inspired the original Matterhorn ride in DIsney, it looks like a very pretty park.
Well that made me laugh a lot! Yes, I hadn't thought about the Matterhorn but I can see it now.
Hello Faye! OMG Copenhagen is one of the best places I am dreaming of to visit. this place is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing this vlog. I have liked and subscribed to your channel and looking forward to your future vlogs. Small youtuber here from Philippines :)
Hello! Copenhagen was lovely and has some really interesting architecture. It is on the more expensive side compared to some other European cities. Wow the Philippines, that always looks so pretty when I have seen pictures and things maybe get there one day. Thank you for subscribing!
@@VloggingLeFaye yeah you should definitely come someday here in PH. We can’t offer that much of architecture landscapes but you’ll definitely enjoy the islands that this country have. Siaorgao is a must visit please add this to your travel bucket list!
Philippines has always looked very pretty in pictures so is somewhere we have looked at in the past. Might have to wait until the little one is a bit older now though!
I also have a copy of Death of a Dream-Pedlar by Adam Stevenson. I started to read it as soon as my copy arrived. I must be one of the world's slowest reader but it had my attention right from the start 👍. It'll be a while before I finish it, but I will feed back when I have.
Thanks for the plug. I do need to speed up though, don't I?
Creaaaaky church hall.
So adorable 🥰 😊
Thank you 🤗
I am, yes.
I enjoyed the Inheritance games a lot more than I expected to. I dont know if I am going to pick up the rest of the series but I will be interested to see if you have enjoyed the rest of them. I use a random number generator to pick my books too haha You had a real mix of books in May its a shame that you didnt have more hits than misses xx
I am intrigued to carry on with the rest of the inheritance games series (when I have no idea) but still don't know how they can get 4 books out of that story line. Random number generators are the way forward, its getting some really old kindle books off my TBR! Thanks for watching 💗
The swimming in the pool was very sweet and I'm glad you got to Hill Top House, I love a writer's house museum. Shame Pete had to pay a pound a metre for the gardens. I also love the fact you can hear swallows throughout the video.
We had a lot of fun :)
A lovely vlog. Great to be getting lots of feedback from Eloise that she's clearly a happy, healthy little baby 😊xx
Faye, please don't beat yourself up. As you can see I'm only just catching up on this. It's very hard when you go from having an orderly structured working life to have it hijacked by a gorgeous bundle of joy. You are amazing how you are learning to adapt. You're still producing these videos, sorting your life around you and coping with everything else. I would like to say it gets easier but as you eluded to it just keeps changing. xx
I'm loving Eloise being drawn to the books.
Trying to start her early!
Wow! I love Barbados 🇧🇧❤
Such a pretty Island!
You read more in March than I did.
Less page I would guess though

Thanks for subbing!
I love that your dogs called jeff and this vis is great I've just upgraded to my limitless plus wanted to get an idea so thanks its a really great video
Thanks, glad you found it useful!
Congratulations to you both. Eloise is a lovely name.
Thank You!
That digital frame is very cool
Isn't it just
If you haven’t already tossed the damaged book, you can maybe find someone who does some kind of collage art, card making or junk journaling. They can use the pages for all kinds of things and it doesn’t have to be thrown away. ❤️
Oh good shout, I hadn't thought about that. I have a couple of friends that journal so I will see if they want it, Thank you!
"You all know this, I'm late to the party"... (never heard of it.)
Well you are stuck in the past when it comes to books though aren't you.
Vlogging!you made fantastic masterpiece, catch you later- :)
Thanks so much!!
Looks great!
Thanks! I'm happy with how its turned out
I love Pete's commitment to measuring everything by the size of your head. Of course, the baby doesn't know, understand or even comprehend the differences between a full-price something or not. I suspect the baby companies build and use this guilt to leech off new parents, who are easy, squishy prey.
All started with the pineapple. That's possibly one of the nicest things you have said to me, thanks for making me feel better about things.
@@VloggingLeFaye I'll try to avoid saying nice things in future.
Happy Christmas toy you, Peter and Jeff 🎄🥰
Same to you!
I laughed so much and so hard.
Why? Glad you got so much amusement from it.
The ridiculousness of you trying to get the dog to tread in the thing, and then him wandering about clueless and stuff.@@VloggingLeFaye
I've got an 800 page history of Drury Lane Theatre if you fancy that for context. Also.. I predict the Lord and Lady she hangs round are the children of the Duke of Clarence, be fun to find out out how it goes. Oh, and also, the musical, then the film of 'Annie' is based on a comic strip which is inspired by a poem - it's a twisty history... twistory.
You're alright I think I will give that one a miss.
Hi from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 😊 🌸🦘🐾🐨🌏🌞🌊👋
Hi! Melbourne is such a nice part of the world, I have been lucky enough to visit so holds lots of memories for me 😊
I'll give any show an extra star if I get to see it with you.
I wish you'd seen treason would love to know what you thought of it.
I like the bit where you get all street and just say "Shizzup" at the camera.
Sounds about right.
You can probably guess which book I have enjoyed out the ones you've read. I think Rivers of London only makes sense if you're into psychogeography. I actually fancy reading that 'Girl of Ink and Stars' book, I've heard good things.
I have put Girl of Ink and Stars aside for you.
This was an interesting tag!
Thanks, I thought so as it is not something I had ever really thought about before!
You have taste?
Filming that video I sort of realised I don't!
To be honest, I'm similar in that respect.@@VloggingLeFaye
🤔 P r o m o S M
I also have a terrible memory and The Island stuck with me… thinking about reading it again to see if I still like it as much 🤔
Have you read anything else by her? I'm tempted but not sure.
What an excellent idea to have online lessons. I didn’t have a clue but as you said, most of it is common sense. Xx
... in which Faye reads tentacle porn.
Got to give things a go.
I dont really like when a romance book is over 400 pages unnecessarily because sometimes there is a whole bunch of filler stuff. What a shame to have a meh reading month. I hope that October is a better reading month for you xx
That is my point I don't want the filler just the real events that impact the characters relationship! It been a bit of a meh reading year, I have enjoyed a lot of the books but they haven't particularly stayed with me but I have high hopes for October I have some interesting sounding reads planned. Thank you for watching!
Great vlog, I love IKEA 😊
Thanks, IKEA is just a fun day out a bit like Costco!
Poor Pete getting called out with the cookie 😂
It happens more often then it should!
Someone at work said their Great-Grandad was hanged by Nazis in that fort for being part of the resistance. And the guy at the laundrette happened to be wearing a Meteora t-shirt last week. Also, you scored very highly on the ugly Baby Jesus front.
You seem to know a lot more about the area then we did before we went! I saw the ugly baby Jesus and thought of you :)
I thought Lithuania
Is that even by the sea?
Not sure I'd ever heard of a packing cube
They are helpful when you have a small case and lots of things :)
Rebecca made me audibly gasp when I was reading it in a curryhouse waiting for a takeaway.
I might read it one day
Looking forward to seeing pictures etc on the walls 😃
That bit is still a work in progress!
What Peter, a strawberry tart without a tennis win!?
